Address Book
When I want to print my address book, I want it printed in alphabetical order in the category I selected.

Put everyone listed alphabetically by last name. Easier to find.

Please remove the added information on everyone in my address list. I do not need to see how many emails I have shared with this person and I do not need to see what the subject of our last email was posted. I also do not need to see photos posted in this address list. I find this very intrusive and was done without my approval. Also just because I have the last name of some of my contacts does not mean we are related.

REMOVE SOUND ALERTS (BELLS) FROM EMAILS YOU RECENTLY ADDED
The bells you added to the emai addresses don't allow you to now copy large numbers of emails to post and send. You have to go back and erase each bell by each name. PLEASE REMOVE THIS FEATURE, THE BELLS FROM ALL EMAILS.

Aol will not allow me to add anew email.
Make adding email simple and easy. I've filed out the form, including the email address and it says that I need to add email and it will not save it.

Phone Numbers need dashes
The phone numbers are now just one long string of numbers which makes it very hard to read. I was told that this is the new format, which is ridiculous and not user friendly. Please go back to the previous format or have someone contact me who knows how to fix this problem.

Addressbook
I have multiple groups where I need to type a specific neighborhood code/ organizational code in the phone list. But it's not accepting the code and it transforms it into an AOL email address. Ex: W-A-1@aol.com
I need those codes so that I can easily access the right person. -
Fix address book so new e mail addresses will automatically be added.
I have been with AOL for 16 years and during that time when sending a new e mail the new address would be automatically added to my address book. This system has been changed and now I am told that I have to add any new customer e mail manually. I am very unhappy with this. I have tried to get the old system back. I am sure I am not alone. I would bet that millions of customers feel the same way. The fix would be to allow those customers that want the new addresses to be saved to…

Deleted Groups
in address book if you want to delete a contact the delete option gives you the following in this order;
delete contact from address book
delete group
remove contacta few times by mistake i have hit - delete group, this deletes the group with no way to recover it. There should be an option 'are you sure you want to delete group'. If not there should be a method of retrieving the deleted group.
Also 'delete group' should be the last option.These groups and distribution lists take a long time to create and if deleted with no method…

Address Book
To who it may concern:
I think this this something that ought to be changed right away........
You can not put AOL's address book in alphabetical order...........
If you look up something in any phone book or any other address book, you will see; that they always start with the last name first. then the first name, etc NOT TRUE WITH AOL. Also, when you are fixing
things in the address box, let the client be able to arrange the columns
of information in any order they feel that works better for them. Should be an easy fix. -
saving saved messages on AOL on a usb stick from relatives passed away
I have many messages where family has sent me jokes and messages of love and caring on my saved mail area. I'd like to save them on USB sticks in case AOL stops or won't save messages for us any more. this way my loved ones care and affection and memories won't be gone forever. Can you folks add that link to save them on A USB or disk option?

Improve ability of adding new names to group address lists
Use of address book and the method of adding names extremely difficult and time consuming. You removed a very simple process for adding new names to a group address book. Now I have to go through multiple steps in adding names to group lists. We are a home based business and this is not user friendly to either individuals or small businesses. This is just another nail in AOL's coffin. Your support person was not able to resolve my issue at all. I would not recommend AOL to anyone I know. You have probably forced me to look into gmail.…

Don't see the one that is my concern
For 25 years that I have been with AOL when sending an out going e mail to a new address, this new address would automatically be added to my address book. This seams to have been changed to now one has to add any new customers to the Mailing Manually. This is not in the best interest of your 20 Million customers. Please change this back to the way it has been for 25 years. Thanks

AOL Desktop Gold - Autosaving Contacts
I have been a faithful PAYING customer for decades. One of the reasons I pay and don't go through browser is that I NEED THE AUTOSAVING CONTACTS FEATURE ON THE ADDRESS BOOK. I am told by tech support that this has been eliminated and I WANT TO KNOW WHY. THIS IS NOT FAIR. CAN IT BE BROUGHT BACK. I will most probably stop paying if it is not. Kay Kahle

Before you clicked on address and got a place to type in name and the computer found it now it shows the whole directory for you to find it or you can go up in right corner and type in name and it gives you several change it back It has taken me hours to get a technician on the phone and it took her over an hour to determine you changed the system Your customer support has become terrible I tried for days to get a technician everyone says leave AOL they have gotten so bad
