  1. get chat rooms to work. this is second day they are not working. It doesn't show any chat rooms, created by members, nor can i start one.

    Thank you for bringing this to our attention. The issue should now be resolved. Please close and re-open the Chat Room Listings window, in order for the chatrooms to load.

  2. Screenname not automatically loading in conversation threads.Must manually fill it in.

    Just in the last few hours my screen name is no longer automatically loading into conversations,instead I must manually type it each time to post.I have tried this both on Gold and through the internet with same results.This happened in the past and it required a fix by AOL.Would appreciate this being dealt with.Thanks.

    The issue should now be resolved. Please sign out and sign back into the AOL Desktop Gold, in order to load your profile nickname in the comment section.

  3. Major Outage 6 Nov 2018

    No one could sign on to AOL for many hours on 6 Nov 2018. Various outside sites reported that it was in vast areas of the U.S. and later people from around the world were saying the same ting. This isn't the first such outage and we need to know what happened and if these major break downs will persist!
