REQUESTING A STARRED FOLDER BE ADDED TO AOL DESKTOP GOLD
It is not possible to access the starred emails on the desktop, whereas it is possible on my phone. This should be added.
You can view your starred emails by using the mail type drop down at the top of the mailbox, or click on the blue Views folder on the mailbox.
To star a specific mail, you can simply click on the star on the mailbox next to the message you wish to star.

E-Mail sound "You Got Mail" is still not working. I have a case # 2654112.
In e-mail sound 'YOU GOT MAIL" is still not working. Everything else works fine. I have a case #26541121. Can't believe You can't fix one simple thing that has not worked for at least a month.
Thank you for this feedback. We have found and resolved the issue where sometimes mail sounds were not being played. The update has started rolling out and you should receive it very soon.

AOL Desktop Gold software not showing images that are within the email.
I am not receiving any images within my emails in 2025. What happened?? Please fix this. I need those images to come through

aol desktop gold - EC-4007 error
The emails not automatically being highlighted when deleting an email and when a spam mail is deleted, it was not appearing on the recently deleted folder immedialtely. Error message: EC-4007

"YOU'VE GOT MAIL" still not fixed. WHY?
"YOU'VE GOT MAIL" still not fixed, WHY?. Can not believe AOL can not fix this problem. You posted the 'YOU'VE GOT MAIL" was fixed BUT may no work all the time, I am paying to have good service but it looks like AOL doesn't care about their PAIED costumers anymore. In the future PLEASE don't say an issue is fixed but MAY NOT WORK ALL the time, STOP the double talk and FIX THE **** THING.

Can't get my email
Can't get my email in one of my accounts...get message with error code ET-5003.. please fix. My other email was fine. What is wrong with your programmers? Another update, another problem.
There was a large mail outage last week that impacted email. That issue is now resolved.

The AOL Search BAR...upper right hand corner is not working as designed.. Recently it has changed and does not allow me to back space
need help...Search block does not allow me to delete or use the back space key...to input a word or correct typing???

Today's update no longer responds to the selected stacking order for email received.
Today's update has lost the ability to stack emails by other than the newest at the top.

Select or highlight next email after I read it.
When I am reading my emails, it used to automatically highlight or select the next email without manually doing it. Please bring that back! Very inconvenient! Thanks

When I get email, I don't hear the "You've got mail sound" while on AOL Desktop Gold. I only hear it when I first sign in

AOL Desktop Gold
The "You've Got Mail" notification sound was not functioning well.
The deletion of emails needs to be done manually since the highlight for the selection of email is not jumping through the next email when it is triggered.
AOL Support Team advised that this is because of the newest update.

Delete mail auto select
Please return the previous capability of AOL Desktop Gold of auto selecting the next mail after deleting the first one many member want it to be back.

Tool issue
Every time I try to permanently delete an email through the trash it will still show that there is emails inside. I did the basic troubleshooting like uninstall and reinstalling the app. Please fix this kind of issue. It's been going on for a week now.

When deleting emails, I get Error msg EC-4007. Every time. Tried your chat with a tech but he was unable to help. Get no reply from AOL.
Get a tech who can help instead of asking the same question over and over. Wanted my phone # to help with my problem; gave it to him and his reply was "sorry, I cannot call that #"...then why ask for it? Incompetent

Deleting Email
Deleting email in my folders has been changed. I manually do each email but preferred older way it was done ... If you have questions . Pease contact me if additional information needed .

Deleting emails. next isnt highlighted
After deleting 1 email in aol mail, the next email is not highlighted and I have to manually highlight it, in order to open it or delete it. This is a real problem because I get ALOT of junk mail and this will take forever to delete them.

Cannot Access Google search engine or any keywords using AOL Desktop Gold
Cannot Access Google search engine or any keywords using AOL Desktop Gold. We have tried to reach the AOL support team but we don`t have direct fix at this moment. We have tried t clear the browser footprints, rename DB File, Re-installed ADG and restarted the computer btu same issue occurs.
