Why would you degrade a good service.
Gmail is not my favorite, but it is so much more usable than the new aol. I have been paying $10 a month for years - but not much longer.

Go back to "You have mail" only and break from the circus side shows that take over the device. Multi links to more junk.I am dropping AOL.
Just read it. Maybe that is your problem..you don't.

Return option to turn off weather banner/location. I know where I am. I can look outside to see the weather. Updated App is more annoying
I don't want to see weather or location. I know where I am. and can see the weather. Just give back the option to turn these off please!

Almost every news message is covered in a video, even if the informations could be passed as a few text lines. I prefer text news first.
Es sollte möglich sein, Nachrichten erst mal in Textform zu lesen, ehe man Videos öffnet. Zum Beispiel die Nachricht über Auffrischen von Covid-Impfungen könnte in wenigen gut leserlichen Textzeilen übermittelt werden. Das Video liefert keinen zusätzlichen Nutzen, kostet Übertragungsrate, ist nur mäßig leserlich und zwingt dem Anwender die Lesegeschwindigkeit auf.
