I asked you to stop sending me news notifications (even though I have them disabled in settings) and you have also shut off email notifications (even though I have them enabled in settings)
Please put back my email notifications (not news) with the lock screen, badges, pop-ups, and the notification sound & vibration, just like I have it enabled in settings.

Well, you finally shut off top stories, but you also shut off my email notifications (even though they're enabled). So now I'm not getting alerted when I get emails.
Please fix.

its very infuriating to get notifications i did not ask for.

They need to fix their notifications. All i want is my email but I keep seeing top stories

I even logged in on a computer and turned off all the ad based nonsense and am still getting this notifications. very aggravating.

Same thing has recently started happening to me. Please turn it back off.

You need an update to fix this.

Currently even if you have news notifications off it will send "Top Story" notifications.

I don't know why I started receiving top stories, but stop. I have selected as few notifications as possible. I only want to be notified when I receive email, and I am not even receiving email notifications right now. I do not care what the top stories are. help me select notifications specifically for email only and no more news notifications

Please stop sending random news articles as a notification! I do not wish to receive these and have no interest in reading them. I don't see a way to disable these as supposedly they're already turned off in my settings. This just started happening and would like it to go away!!

If you scroll down the "News" tab, and other tabs, when you scroll back to the top, it keeps going, and going repeatedly. You have to close out of the app and reopen, then it behaves as it should.
