The app keeps freezing when I close an email. The only resolution is to hard close the app and go back in

serious dissatisfaction with the recent changes to your email interface.
The redesign has made it unnecessarily difficult to distinguish between new and old emails. A feature that should be simple and intuitive has now become confusing and frustrating to use.
I strongly urge you to reconsider these changes and restore a clear, user-friendly way of identifying new and previously received emails.
These changes have significantly compromised the user experience. If this issue is not addressed promptly, you risk alienating your existing customers and losing their business.
Please take this feedback seriously and implement an immediate solution.

Get rid of huge adverts on mail
Sick of seeing adverts when trying to read my mail and suddenly they’ve become very large. To the extent, I am thinking about changing my email provider.

The new version of the app sucks because you cannot search on the from field in email, meaning the “from:” prompt no longer works. Please restore the advanced search function that allows you to search only on the “from” field. Shame on you for changing this without informing us. So stupid.

Delete contacts that show up on search bar
The email addresses that I have emailed only once still show up on the search bar after deleting them from my contacts. I have called customer service and paid for premium subscription and have not figured out how to fix the issue. This is so frustrating! I have cleared cache and still nothing! Nothing works.

Faster responding, less bugs.
Faster responding email app, less bugs. Allow email to change status after being read instead of making them stay highlighted like not reading. Fix the email delete button, sometimes responds and other times not.

Email issues
On my iPhone using the yellow a o l app. My name no longer populates when adding to an email. Can’t delete an email address which actually is incorrect from my contacts. Unable select an alert for my emails defaults to a strange tone.

Get properly trained tech support personnel who actually LISTEN AND UNDERSTAND A PROBLEM! My email will NOT REFRESH after a couple of days
I have to delete my AOL account every couple of days as even though I can get it through my browser (both on laptop and my IPhone). I have to DELETE THE APP AND REINSTALL IT to get it to work. Tech support kept telling me to check my internet connection even when I told her my other apps (I.E. Youtube) worked fine. How frustrating is both your latest updates and your absolutely incompetent support staff?

i can't verify my email with the site i opened in your email because i can't exist and re-enter through aol email

Also, when you manage you Mail on the App on your iPhone, your iPad no longer syncs so old messages remain…..any help with this will be appreciated.

This large advert in the app is absolutely ridiculous
Why am I looking at lifesize pickles or a giant picture of an old lady before and after Botox whilst looking at what dreadful emails I have. My emails are largely bills and “you’ve won the lottery” when it’s only 1 pound. I don’t need to look at gigantic adverts about my credit score to deepen the wound. Surely there’s more to life than the revenue you get from these tragic adverts. The only reason I still use this dreadful email app is because my logins are all tied to it. I doubt Gmail have A3 size adverts about hearing…
