I need the Topp Contacts a.k.a. Related Contacts to be deleted if I choose. This is intrusive when on Android and sharing from another APP.
Enhancement Request: Improve Control Over “Top Contacts” and “Related Contacts”
I would like AOL to provide users with more control over the contacts that appear in Top Contacts and Related Contacts.
During testing, I found the following problematic behavior:
- A contact can continue appearing in Top Contacts or Related Contacts even after the contact has been deleted from AOL Contacts.
- The contact may no longer appear under Contacts → All Contacts or Contacts → Top Contacts, yet can still appear elsewhere as a suggested or related contact.
- Deleting the contact's emails does not necessarily remove the contact from these suggestions.
- Removing or dismissing a contact from one location does not consistently remove it from other AOL contact-suggestion areas.
- This makes it unclear what data AOL is using to generate these suggestions and gives the user little ability to permanently remove an unwanted contact from the suggestions.
- The behavior is particularly confusing when the same contact has already been deleted from Contacts and there is no obvious remaining source for AOL to continue displaying it.
Requested enhancement:
Please provide a clear, user-accessible way to permanently remove or hide an individual contact from Top Contacts, Related Contacts, and other contact suggestions, with that choice consistently applied across AOL Mail on both desktop and mobile.
Users should also be able to see, or at least understand, what determines these suggestions and why a deleted contact can continue to appear.
