l can't figure out how to send email in AOL anymore on my Android phone. what happened? HELP

To send an email, tap on the pen icon located at the bottom right of your Inbox.

While I am reading an email, don't auto open new email. I haven't finished reading the 1st one. Very annoying!
When new email arrives while I'm reading another, it is annoying when app auto opens that new arrival. It's ok to have audible sound for new mail, but not to automatically open it.

new app just not working as well as before. some emails saying sent and never arriving. becoming unreliable

If you notice your emails are going to the Trash or to the wrong folder, it might be because of a faulty filter redirecting your emails to different folders, other than the Inbox. Check your settings to view or change where they’re going.

Aol Customer service "SUCKS"!!!
every time I get hooked up with a customer service that hang up after being on hold for like 30 minutes.

FIX THE BUGS IN THIS APP
The badge icon constantly says I have 7 new mail, when that is not accurate.
Also, it now inserts photos into the body of the email, when i want it as an attachment.
Please correct these matters.

In order to solve the attachment issue, please follow these steps: You see three dots in the right hand corner on the picture. Once you click on those, you will have three options – please select “Attach below”.
Also, regarding the badge icon issue, please uninstall/reinstall the email app or remove and re-add your account to it.

Old way under IMAP server provides better notifications when an email comes into inbox. New way under your APP does not provide them.
Please return to allowing Google/Android access through IMAP or POP3 server.

If you notice your emails are going to the Spam or to the wrong folder, it might be because of a faulty filter redirecting your emails to different folders, other than the Inbox.
If you’ve set up filters, the settings may be routing some emails to the Spam. You can review your filter settings in AOL Mail and edit or delete any incorrect filters.
Also, if the emails are going in your Spam folder, please mark them as ‘’Not Spam’’.

When emails/folders go missing in AOL Mail, it’s often due to a few simple things; either the message is in the wrong folder, your third-party mail client’s settings, or your account was deactivated due to inactivity. Do not like the changes. All my good emails are being sent to spam, etc. Every time you try to improve things you make them worse.

Hi there, we are continually making changes to improve your experience. For advanced settings, go to mail.aol.com on a desktop computer and create filters under Mail Settings. You can filter incoming mail to go into Trash or Spam.

I cant find all of my contacts. not liking this set up at all
where are all of my contacts ????
To access your Contact List and Groups go to your desktop mail by going to mail.aol.com :
1. Tap on Contacts on the left menu.

Dadurch, dass ich AOL nicht mehr mit Outlook verwenden kann , muss ich alle Anhänge von Handy auf den PC übertragen. Einfach nur Schrott.

I can no longer save my emails in folders which is really frustrating. I try to save the email to a folder and it just stays in my inbox.
please let us move our emails into folders

Sometimes my mail will not load. It has been frustrating.
This app needs to be more consistent in loading mail. Sometimes it works, and tonight it will not let me read any mail. It is frustrating!

1. Clear the app’s cache
2. If you’re signed in, tap the Settings icon, tap Manage Accounts, then tap Edit, tap Remove
3. Restart your mobile device
4. Uninstall and reinstall the app with the latest version
5. Lastly, switch the internet connection from WiFi to mobile data
