I don't think your your email platform can be fixed. Of all the email platforms I've used over the last 30 years, yours really stands out.
Suggest you look at the service provide previously provide by Verizon.

AOL rappel, agenda. j'ai de vieilles notifications de rappel de rdv agenda que je ne peux pas annuler. comment supprimer?
l'agenda a disparu, et je continue de recevoir mes rappels de rendez-vous, surtout ceux avec un cycle continu. je ne peux pas les annuler. Les fêtes d anniversaires aussi, je souhaite annuler.
