I have a couple of troubleshooting steps for you that should resolve this issue:
1. If you’re signed in, tap the Settings icon, tap Manage Accounts, then tap Edit, tap Remove
2. Restart your mobile device
3. Uninstall and reinstall the app with the latest version
4. Lastly, switch the internet connection from WiFi to mobile data

just make the software so it does not close itself or pick and choose which links it will open.

On my cell I will be typing an email and the app will close on its own, causing me to lose what I’ve typed. This only happens on the app on my phone, not on my computer. I’ve deleted the app and reloaded. No difference. Very frustrating.

Ever since the update it is constantly freezing and crashing what is with with this stuff. Do you know how many times I’ve reset the phone to factory settings take everything off put everything back on it’s done nothing it’s within the app you have to find the bugs and glitches every time it doesn’t update more bad stuff comes with it.

Again you’re crazy app crashed on me I don’t know why am having all these problems I better not lose my accounts and emails if I delete the app and put it back on I need this answered please I’m having nothing but problems with everyone and everything this is not an idea

Your app is starting to crash on me and I don’t know why. And you’re taking a lot of abilities away from us we can’t create accounts anymore we can’t use the email the way we used to now until the 20th I’m not happy with AOL I never have been

For several months now the IOS app spontaneously crashes. Doesn’t matter whether it’s on my iPad or my iPhone. This is my third complaint. I can’t trust the app for composing mail because it’ll die, losing anything typed to that point. I can’t trust the app when reading news articles because it just quits and disappears from the screen. Even just trying to read mail, it just quits, regardless of what I’m doing. You say “don’t use this or that alternative...use the app”. I’d love to. This problem is months old and there’s no evidence that it’s being addressed. So, when are you folks going to take this bug seriously and fix it???

I cannot get aol to even come up, on iPad, PC Is fine, but cannot connect through iPad and phone APP is really bad! I’ve been with AOL from the beginning, looking for another service!

The aol app for iPhone never works properly. It needs to be recreated by someone that knows what they are doing. It constantly crashes and ask you to sign on again then will tell you that safari can’t open this page

App does not stay open. Have to sign in several times a day. Instill I have boxes on the side of my emails that will not go away. I have deleted and reinstalled the app three times. That doesn't help. Thinking about changing emails

....how many years will this app freeze and crash?
Go to open a new email....it disappears into Old Mail before you can read it....in a fraction of a second.
This is basic stuff. Get an email....read an email....but not with AOL.
Get an email....open an email....watch it instantly disappear!
