Why are pictures in news articles restricted?

I have a couple of troubleshooting steps for you that should resolve this issue:
1. Clear the app’s cache
2. If you’re signed in, tap the Settings icon, tap Manage Accounts, then tap Edit, tap Remove
3. Restart your mobile device
4. Uninstall and reinstall the app with the latest version
5. Lastly, switch the internet connection from WiFi to mobile data or vice-versa

Too many times I have clicked on a news story and the pages never loads. Happens every day mainly on sport and entertainment links. Also will not allow me to post comments as it says log in but it won’t let me.

Hello,
Although I can usually pull up the pics in the slides, the Instagram pics embedded in articles are always blank. I can see the caption and a blank picture. I’ve been told by aol support to delete and reinstall the app but that doesn’t resolve the problem issue.
