SPAM
Since downloading and utilizing this app my SPAM mailed has increased tremendously!! Please install stronger filters!!
We are continually making changes to improve your experience.
If unwanted junk mail is getting through your filters, the best way to stop it is to mark it as spam, under the ‘More’ menu.
For advanced settings, go to mail.aol.com on a desktop computer and create filters under Mail Settings. You can filter incoming mail to go to the folders where you want them — or, make unwanted mail from specific senders go straight into Trash or Spam. Note: You can create up to 50 filters.

Like text senders want to block them getting too many emails and want to be able to block certain people or emails

There is just SO much spam. Every day, more and more each day. It is NOT customers’ faults so please don’t tell us to adjust our filters or block certain words or addresses. I’ve done everything suggested and it has just got worse and worse. I have moved to googlemail as much as possible (where, by the way, I have had no spam, ever), but have used AOL for so long I have to check my account every day, and I get maybe 100 spam messages daily - Camp Lejeune, cannabis oil, offensive sexual messages, portable oxygen, blood pressure solutions, diabetes etc. etc. I am SO sick of this. Just please stop all the spam - adjust YOUR settings and stop it. So many other people are saying the same but you are not doing anything.

There is an email address:

Address? Thank you. -

I am receiving more spam now both into my new email folder and spam folder much more than I did when I used the mail function on my iPhone: what is worrying is the subject is often similar to a genuine email I have received or with my surname ( which is not my username) I am concerned that my email has been accessed

I’ve been getting a lot of OBVIOUS spam in my inbox recently.

Why are all of my linked accounts receiving email after installing the AOL app on my primary account?

Please add the ability to block senders. The spam filtering has been lacking lately and I keep finding new spam in my inbox, even after labeling it as so. Manually adding hundreds of spam addresses to the blocks senders list seems archaic these days.

I use 2 other email addresses besides AOL.
I RARELY get spam mail on them.
With aol I get at least 30 a day.
Also, I do not have to log in to my other accounts.
With AOL, I have to log in several times a day
If you do not improve in these areas, I will delete
AOL and never miss it -

This is my very private email address and I have only given it to less than five people but today I have had emails from HUWAI when I use all Apple devices so I want to be able to prevent idiotic companies like that from harassing me under the GDP REGULATIONS .

There is a cascade of spam and scam emails flooding into my AOL mailbox. This has to be stopped. The sort of mail should be stopped even before it gets to my junk box. Please take care of this, or it is farewell AOL and hello Gmail, which appears to have much more efficient scam and spam blockers.

Please inform me on how to block all spam/scam mail using the new app. I would prefer this to be a full block, preferably by domain name (such as the scammer cortexty.online or nomeko for instance, and not involve my shifting the invasive emails from junk to trash so I can erase them. This is time waster, and if AOL is doing its job protecting its customers from digital mugging, it should be wholly unnecessary.

AOL should slow down the emails being received. I have an overwhelming amount of emails each day and would like less a day to look at.

Allow blocking of email you do not request or email sent to you by spam. Blocking email addresses would help stop unsolicited material.
