Since downloading and utilizing this app my SPAM mailed has increased tremendously!! Please install stronger filters!!

If unwanted junk mail is getting through your filters, the best way to stop it is to mark it as spam, under the ‘More’ menu.

For advanced settings, go to mail.aol.com on a desktop computer and create filters under Mail Settings. You can filter incoming mail to go to the folders where you want them — or, make unwanted mail from specific senders go straight into Trash or Spam. Note: You can create up to 50 filters.

    i should be the controller of my mailbox, if it’s junk i’ll delete, aol does not know what is junk to me

    i would like very much to choose my own spam, or, if i don’t want to read it i can always delete it, please STOP putting my email in SPAM!

    Bring back the ability to block emails by using words and email addresses To make it the way that it was before. Also, give people the option to delete emails after a certain time that are in the inbox, but don’t force it on people. I have receipts from years ago that I would still like to find, and if deletion of emails was forced on us, I wouldn’t have them to update programs that have lifetime subscriptions if I have to format my computer‘s hard drive.

    It’s apparent that AOL sells/shares email addresses to any junk mail sender that asks for it, so I will be deleting my account. Please stop sending junk mail

    I have been harassed by some stranger for quite some time and despite searching everywhere I cannot find a way to block his emails?

    I too get garbage e-mails in my inbox and some of my good mail from my contacts goes into spam what is with that

    If you can’t do that it will be time to get rid of the service and find another service all together

    Hello,
    My spam is now dumping into my regular mail. Please make a setting that I can block and send emailers to spam and also permanently block them. I use the iPhone 6 Plus.

    I used to be able to block from the version of AOL on my laptop, but cannot seem to do the same from the mobile version.

    I am continuously getting inappropriate ads of a ****** nature. Isn’t there something you can do about that? Shouldn’t these be going directly to spam? Your filters are terrible. This is the worst it’s been in all the years I have used AOL. Please fix this problem!!! Thank you.

    I’ve been getting spam in my regular inbox lately and it’s annoying and/or disturbing because of the kind of emails that pop in there. Either AOL has bad screening services or just none at all.

    Please allow us to add keywords to block specific spam so this junk stops coming. Annoying to have to delete same junk daily!

    Depuis plusieurs jours des "spam"se retrouvent dans les "E-mail " reçus.

    Starting to get more spam in my inbox AGAIN! Are you not keeping on top of these spammers?!
    This happens a lot, I get that. But when it does happen again, it happens in mass and it takes you ages to actually sort this out. If you don’t start getting your act together, I’m going to someone else for my email.

    Why am I getting so much spam in my inbox??? I have. Spam folder but can get at least 20 spam emails in my inbox along with another 40 or so in my spam folder. How do I fix this???

    Keep getting same junk mail.
    Please provide a blanket bar on these deleted junk e-mails so that they do not reappear.

    The “blocked” email addresses can still send you email. What is this setting for?

    A good amount of my approved emails from my political party concerning the upcoming election are being sent to the spam folder.
