I can’t open my emails
With the latest IPad app update, my mail comes in fine but when I try to open them it closes the App, every time. The software level on my iPad 3 is iOS 9.3.5 which is supposed to be compatible.
Our developer team just released an update that fixed this issue, please go to the App store and get the latest version of the AOL App.

Same thing happened to me. Did last update and all features worked except I can not open email, App just shuts down. Had to go to mail.aol.com to read my mail. What's up with that.

Same prob with my iPad but I downloaded aol app on my android phone to get my mail and it works fine

Emails load, but when I tap to open them, it goes straight back to the app, unable to open.

I have the same problem. Email loads but app crashes when I try to open an email. iOS version 9.3.5 AOL app version 5.6.0.

Can't open emails either since latest update. Using an iPhone 4S with iOS 9.3.5.
