    When I write or respond to an email, it will often disappear for no known reason. I do not touch cancel. It does not show up in draft, sent, spam, or trash. It just vanishes. This usually happens when I am moving the email to edit since I have a business. I am simply moving the email up and down in the middle with my finger. My emails are often lengthy (more than two paragraphs). It does not happen all the time but often enough to be infuriating. I use an iPad, but this did not start until after your security update in October. I am using the same iPad so it is not my device. I was told to report this to a senior technician by the person I called tonight. If you need more details, Jay is the one I spoke with. My email is pjroyal@aol.com. Do not call.

    Leider werden bei mir von Zeit zu Zeit alle emails im Eingang automatisch gelöscht.

    When I’m writing an email, I have noticed that many times the message will disappear if I inadvertently touch anywhere on the screen. This has caused me to have to rewrite many emails from scratch and is very irritating. This never happened previously in all the years I’ve had aol. Overall, this app is not as good as the previous way of accessing aol.

    Stop emails marked unread from disappearing. Stop emails that are being written from just disappearing. Let us delete folders when we are done with them.

    Something is wrong with the app because my old mail is being deleted and now I have important files/emails/confirmations that are gone. I check the deleted file and they are gone from there too. I am furious!

    I’ve checked every folder and can’t find them anywhere. Why would emails just disappear ?

    I want to see old and new that are in one box, until I remove them. Don’t like having to open 2 boxes. Also don’t like ads in my mail.

    If at any stage while I’m writing an e-mail a finger touches my screen anywhere but the keyboard, outside the text, the incomplete message disappears off the bottom of the screen and cannot be retrieved. It doesn’t appear in drafts, so I have to start again. This is making it impossible to use the app

    All my old mail is gone .. I called and they said for a fee they could get them back .. I think they do this intentionally so they can get people to pay for their service.. I had emails as far back as 2004 .. all the sound they are gone!

    Try hitting REPLY to any message in the iPad app. Then drag the message to the bottom of the screen (I did this by accident). Where did it go? I spent time writing a reply, and my finger went near the banner for the reply, sliding it down, and I seem to have lost my reply text. Where is it? NOTE: THIS IS NOT all emails being lost. This is a "feature" of the app, where it allows you to push it out of sight. Then where does it go?

    Three times this year, with the latest this morning, all my old mail disappears. I h e just two emails from 2019 and then emails from 2017 and prior years. I am going to find another service,,,,,,this service sucks.

    Hi,
    I moved my read emails to specific folders for filing a few days ago. However, as I opened now, the folders are empty. I need to retrieve attachments from these lost emails. Pls help.

    I have lost 9 months of emails. Any idea how that may have happened or if I can get them back. Time frame 12.2018 - 09.10.19. Have them earlier and later. ??!

    Have created emails and sent them, only to find they didn’t send, didn’t go in drafts, got no notification they were not sent, etc. They just disappeared. Very disappointed with AOLs email app.
