Here is how you can avoid having to manually log in every time you want to read your mail AOL mail on your iPhone. It sounds complicated, but after you have done it a few times, it only takes a couple of seconds: 1) Tap the gear-like symbol on the very lower right of the blue screen, 2) Tap “Manage Accounts”, 3) Tap to the left of the white dot and wait two seconds, 4) Tap to the right of the white dot. 5) Use your thumb print to sign in (I have an older iPhone), 6) Select the arrow on the upper left of the screen to return to the settings page. Finally, 7) Tap the mail icon in the lower left corner of the screen to open your mail. I hope that helps. (Under my iPhone “Settings”, “Touch ID & Passcode”, I have “Password AutoFill” turned on.)

I was having the same issue as others have reported with the app requiring me to sign in EVERY TIME i open the app. Per AOL’s previous request, I deleted the app and downloaded it again. It fixed the log in issue but now CRASHES CONSTANTLY. Can anything be done?

The app was fine.. the update sucks! I agree! No need to sign in from my own cel every time.. and routing to Facebook and other apps also sucks. If not fixed will drop app

The phone app allows me to see email without signing in. It is an old phone. Therefore, my new iPad should be able to do the same. Please fix. VERY FRUSTRATING!

I hate signing in every time. Why ? Can’t you allow face recognition when using cell phones?

This is so annoying. I am having to log on up to 15 times a day and every time it suggests I am logging on for first time with this device and they have to send six digit code to authenticate which I do and minutes later I have to start whole process again, and actually I am using same iPad I have been logging on from for 8 years with no problem until a week ago,

Very frustrating to continually have to sign on aol over and over again! It isn’t a clearing my cache issue. Why can’t all the brilliant techs figure this one out. We deserve some type of explanation especially since I’ve stuck with AOL for almost 30 yrs.
