I agree with all the complaints posted. I never had this problem before signing up for the new mail. I am elderly 80 and would very much like my email fixed.

I will be leaving AOL as a result of this latest move. Why should I have to sign in to read emails?

Ditto all the above comments. C’mon AOL. Pull your finger out and get it done. If you make all these changes support your customers.

This is been happening for way too long: why is it not fixed yet?! We are asking you as your users to fix it: extremely annoying. Thank you ahead of time for your help.

I agree that it is becoming increasingly annoying to be required frequently to “tap to get started “ for aol mail after being a customer for 20 years!!

I’m having the same problem and it’s annoying. It only happens on my iPhone. If I check my Verizon (AOL Mail) on my iPad I never have a problem and I’m connected every time even if I close the app.

Me too. The iPhone app used to stay logged in, but now I have to enter my username/password all the time. This is monstrously annoying.

Ten finger transactions to log in to my email account, every time I want to use my email.
What happened to simplicity and effective security through a single fingerprint? Please help

The app used to allow a secured user on an iOS 12 iphone access to their aol.com email account having entered their username and password just the once.
After the AOL app upgrade and iOS 13.6 upgrade my AOL app now requires me to enter my username and then my password each time I want to check my email. Hugely frustrating compared to previously.
Can you please change the AOL app to not requiring repeated logins from a device that is secured to the use of a single user and that used has passed AOL user identity and password verification? Please.
As you’ve seen from countless other users, the customer base is annoyed and contemplating moving their email accounts elsewhere.
Thanks for musing on this

Shouldn’t need to log on every time I check email! Time consuming, annoying and unnecessary. No other email service I’ve used requires this. Shouldn’t be rocket science to fix this.

Stop making me sign in so often. One time should be enough. Let me stay signed in.
