For years I have enjoyed being able to comment on articles on AOL. Now, since that is no longer allowed, it may be time to use another news source. What do you think?

AOL is overstepping the boundaries of censorship.. I've not used a profane word, yet you insist on ripping my comments. Really, if you expect to be paid, first of all search your own articles and correct all of the egregious typographical errors. And you have the nerve to censor me, when articles are not only poorly researched but have really terrible errors. It's like you are using 3rd graders as employees.

How come I cannot comment on some of these stories? I am paying $39.99 per month for a service that I could easily get free.

Some degree of censoring objective comments is indeed needed, but your current system is worse than ever. I posted a simple non offensive post actually giving someone credit for what they are doing and you rejected it. My post was simply, "A few are waking up, let's give them credit where credit is due. No, I am not a libbie.? I was referring to the Republicans that are starting to stand against Trump's insanity. I did not diss anyone or use offensive words...It was a compliment but you rejected it anyway.....That is going way overboard. Still you allow posts advocating violence and hatred...what is going on, did Trump buy AOL out too?

In addition to censoring my non-violent comments made without foul language, etc., AOL is now blocking my ability to enter any posts. I am conservative and often mock the positions of liberals and AOL's reports so I guess AOL censors are easily offended. You are not entitled to claim neutrality in the face of this blatant censorship.

What is it exactly that you find objectionable about this comment?
Is it really the same? I can think of many differences. First, the police have been given authority to ask for identification while the mob was acting without authority by entering private property. Second, how do you define an unlawful traffic stop? It's easy to define a mob entering a gated community without permission. Third, showing the police your ID will avoid further harm but putting your defensive guns away when you're facing a mob will likely get you killed based on all that's been happening in this country lately. Fourth, you have recourse against a police officer who is clearly identified by their badge number if they were acting inappropriately but you still need to show your ID and pursue the recourse later. However, the homeowners won't have any recourse because they will likely be beaten to a pulp and unable to identify their radical attackers. Need I go on or are you really so limited in your ability to discern the differences that it wouldn't matter if I did? By the way, mob mentality is the trademark of the ***. Is that whom you'd like to emulate? -

Tell us what the **** objectional part of our posts are so we know....there are numerous posts here with profanity imbedded in them insults, name calling an much more offensive language than I use yet a simple statement explaining that if the president loses the election and refuses to leave he could be escorted from the White House, gets rejected....WHY, what's offensive about it? Clarify your rules with specifics please.....every other comment almost is a complaint about AOL now being the information police......initially I disagreed but now I'm convinced they're probably correct.
