AOL needs to rebrand themselves and become the "Original Social Media" and out perform the competition.
Offer AIM, Chat Rooms and be a better platform then Facebook. As you know, many are unhappy with Facebook and I don't know why AOL didn't take the bull by the horns and out do Facebook in the beginning. Heck I even met my wife on AOL in 1998 and we married in 1999. I remember that being very different to meet people like that then, unlike it is today. Make AOL where friends and family can share photos while staying connected. Also allow members to make groups, pages and stores. Take the best of what every other social media has to offer and go bigger and better!

I was JUST thinking this and agree that it would be great to have AIM make a return during this time when many are quarantined in their homes working from their computers. It would help everyone keep in touch virtually and would make for a great media story for AOL & Verizon!

Please bring back instant messaging as an app! The nostalgia for AIM is real and the people are in need of a new instant messenger app that's quicker than texting!

A member since 1993, I miss the chat rooms with the cities an th Instant Messages. I woud would love to see them back. :>)
