Fix the broken full-screen aspect ratio
Full-screen is messed up if you're using a monitor with a 16x10 resolution. Please fix this. I love looking at your photos, but can't do it when the full-screen aspect ration is so corrupted. Come on... this really shouldn't be a difficult thing to figure out.
Good afternoon all. We’ve just push an update to address this issue. Thanks for flagging it and thanks for your patience.

I've had this same problem. Basically when you try to look at images in the image browser for any article the look fine, unless you try to expand the images to appear on the full screen (click button that has two diagonal arrows, to expand the display size). Once the image size is expanded, to cover the entire display (full-screen), the cars look extremely distorted; they all looked squished horizontally. This was not a problem during the fall of 2018, but seems to be an issue since late 2018.

When viewing photos of cars in "Fullscreen" mode on monitors that's not the standard 16x9, the images of the cars become stretched to the wrong aspect ratio which makes the cars look terrible and as a result this feature is unusable. This problem plagues all browsers.

Hi Ray. I think that's great that you're interested in this problem. Thank you.
By "full-screen" I'm referring to a feature of your photo gallery design. You can scroll through pictures within the web page, or you can go "full screen" with the photo, which should be a more appealing way to admire the photography. (And let me just say, the photography on AutoBlog is always amazing.)
However, when in full-screen presentation on my monitor, the native image aspect ratio is *not* maintained. Instead, the image is resized according to the width of my monitor's resolution. Since my monitor is 1920x1200 (which is 16:10), the image width is crushed and distorted. If my display were 1920x1080 (which is 16:9) that the image would look fine since that's the actual image resolution of most of your photos.
It wasn't always this way, as far as I recall. But has been for a while, at least a year maybe. And it's really sad because, as I said, I would love to appreciate the photos in full-screen presentation, and can't because of this bug.
Thanks again. Honestly, Ray, it's an easy fix. Your software team will immediately understand.

Images in the gallery are distorted and the aspect ratio incorrect on all iOS devices. Super buggy and unusable.
