I'm signed in and I still cannot post comments. I click on the orange "sign up to post" button and nothing happens. What's going on???

I have the same problem. I'm signed in, but all I get is "Sign up to post", and when I click, nothing happens. Linux + Chrome 73.

I'm wondering, since the OS you are running is reaching end of life, if there may be some issue happening that we may not be able to figure out. That said, you can also try going to our site via an incognito window. That will bypass any cached data. See if that changes anything. If so, then you'll just need to flush out the browse cache for our site and should be ok. If not, then you might see if works in another browser. I know it works in the latest version of Chrome on both Windows and Mac. Let me know what you find.

Still doesn't work. I'm signed in because next to "edit display name' it says "sign out" and when I click on that, I get signed out. No box window pops up when I click in the add a comment field. I can type a comment but I can't post it. The orange "sign up to post button is a grayed out orange and turns orange as soon as i type a letter in the comment field. I click on it and it turns blue and nothing happens. I click back in the comment field and it turns orange again but not orange/ grayed out.
I'm using Windows 7 with Chrome browser. Pop-ups and Flash are allowed in settings.
