Guys, the image galleries all take like 4 minutes to load on a 100 megabit connection.
Could you please fix this. It's very frustrating.
You've got several major page-reflows as different ad-rotators load before the actual content and it takes a very long time.

Will, thanks again for digging in and sharing your insights. I’ll review this feedback with our engineering team and see what type of investigation might make sense. Some of these items my be addressed with the work already in progress, while some of these may be new.

Will, thanks for the additional feedback. Regarding ads on the page, you are correct that it rich-media and refreshes can have an effect on the user experience. We are always trying to balance UX with business goals, so this is where we have landed for now. You take is most appreciated.
As for the JS/AJAX suggestions, we are indeed mid-stream, working on optimizations that will specifically address these items. We’ll let you know when those go live.
And finally, regarding the Popular Now widget, we are not seeing this behavior. I notice that your user agent says you are on a rather old version of Firefox. Have you validated this behavior with the latest build and/or another modern browser?
BTW, can you send me a link to the Car Info page? I’d like to make sure we’re looking at the same thing.

Will, one more thing. You mentioned ad-rotators, and page-reflows. Do you believe any of these are contributing to site performance issues? Or were they causing other usability issues for you? While we think we’ve fix any global site slowdowns, I want to be sure there wasn’t anything else you uncovered that we missed. Thanks.
