notification alert window better, but still bugs
The new notification window is much better than the old one, but still has issues. First, you can't make them all as acknowledged/read as you could in the former version. You have to actually click on them to mark it read. Which leads to the second problem. When you click the link to go to the post, it does not acknowledge that you are logged into the site. You can't respond in the pop-up windows because it doesn't think you're logged in (and logging in from that window doesn't work). If you close the popup and scroll down to the comments to respond, it again has the "Log in to post" message overlying the comments, even though I can see that I am logged in behind the pop-up. I can simply close the pop-up and post as normal, as I am logged in already.
As I said, good improvement but still issues.

The developer has resolved the problem with the response window not recognizing the user is logged in. Still no way to mark notifications as read. Making progress!
