This inconsistency raises two concerns for me as a reader:

1. Comparative crime statistics between countries are notoriously unreliable, given differences in legal definitions, reporting rates, and policing practices. Presenting India as uniquely associated with this issue, without the same framing applied elsewhere, risks misleading readers rather than informing them.

2. If the goal is to raise awareness of sexual violence as a serious issue, that awareness should be applied consistently and globally — including coverage of cases and systemic issues within the UK itself.

I'd ask that your editorial team review how this topic is framed, and consider applying consistent standards regardless of country, rather than repeatedly centering one nation in a way that can read as bias rather than balanced reporting.
