2. I HATE the new email! I found the previous version easier & more effective to use.

   Half the time it's non-functional. I can log into aol, but when I click on email this is what displays in the url "about:blank". Nothing loads. I've been trying to get into my email on my laptop for over 3 hours this morning without success! Yet, I can view it just fine on my cellphone.

   Are your servers down? This has been happening on an almost daily basis for months.

   I liked the ability to imbed pictures into email & the layout of the original email. I regret that I ever personalized the appearance of my email. I've tried searching for the original layout under personalization & have been unable to find it.

   I've been with aol since either 95 or 96 & am disgusted!

4. Return Hearts to the way it was, Please

9. About the recent redesign, I have three criticisms/suggestions:

   1) When I do a word search, I need to search in deleted files, too. Sometimes a missing message is there, after all, but I am no longer able to extend my searches that far — or if there is a way to do it, I don't know what it is.
   2) NOW, when I copy and paste a prepared letter into the message box, I get a space between every paragraph so that the letter goes on endlessly with all these spaces. Please get rid of that feature. This drives me crazy because I have to manually fix the letter once it is in the message box. This did not happen previously.
   3) Before I open a message, I want to see the full name of the sender, which allows me to know if I can just kill a piece of junk without wasting my time by opening it. After the redesign, I am no longer able to do that.
   IN SUM, the redesign is a net loss for me when it comes to convenience.

17. Ability to block senders without a complete email address. I have been receiving literally hundreds of spam emails from renter-info

    How can we block someone when for every email they change their address (a phony)? AOL puts the emails into spam, but there does not seem to be a way to block anything from the sender. The worst is renter-info, but others are rapidly cropping up. Best regards,

18. STOP changing AOL. How many versions are you now trying? I've had 3 in the last few weeks!

    Okay, when someone breaks into your home and moves things around that is breaking and entering. But what is it when you are using your own computer in your own home and the software changes to a different version right in front of you! A few weeks back I was using a much loved version of AOL. It didn't crash and lose all my data or favorite places or such; it worked and it worked great for a very long time. And I was a happy paying customer. Then I am encouraged to try the newest AOL version. I chose to not switch. Then, all of a sudden, my AOL changes to some sort of difficult version - yet NOT the newest. I know this since I caught a glimpse of the newsest and this wasn't it. Which brings me to NOW! So as I am using the new software and am attempting for days to get used to it and understand it, it changes again! RIGHT WHILE I'M LOOKING AT THE SCREEN. No warning, no heads-up, nada, nothing! So I begin looking around to see what AOL has given me now. Better than the newest, not as good as my old previous. Yet the one thing I noticed still: only one font, but I can choose a size; mail can be deleted in multiples again, but not the same layout. And there are enough changes for an AOL user for years to find it not as good and confusing initially. BUT - how come I still cannot copy and paste a photo into an email? I have photos that I email and now I cannot. They are copied and then to be pasted - not a download. Any help out there? Any suggestions? And any other AOL members having this much fun when they did nothing to warrant it?
