However, the AOL AI censoring system is very crude. Even when I am quoting the person above me, whom I am answering, my comment may be removed. Or when I am quoting a phrase from the article I am referring to, that may also be wrong for the censor.
Please try to make your "cultural standards" a bit more sensitive.
I am 83, in poor health, and hardly ever get out. So communicating by computer is very important to me.4805th ranked -
Please bring back blocking or enable deletion as an option on a filter
Blocking of mails has been removed and filtering at the account level enabled. This has now resulted in many, many, many spam emails now come through sit seems the filtering function doesn't act on incoming items categorized as spam. Isay this as many of these spam items should be in Trash per filtering. BUT, even if went to Trash vs Spam, would still prefer totaling having these items deleted as was done with blocking vs placed in any folder at all. The amount of spam seems to be incrementing exponentially, and I can easily spend 1 hour - or more…

Do not allow obvious SCAM merchandisers such as the one which offers eyeglasses that "adjust automatically" , which is impossible !!
So many Senior citizens are drawn to ordering these eyeglasses as replacements to optometrically prescribed ones. TOTAL SCAM, and there are others as well. AOL should bear the responsibility to weed out these type of scammers before being to allowed to place their ads.

I have a church email that was going to spam for several months. I managed to get it out of the spam folder each week. However, one week I inadvertently deleted it in the spam folder. Now it comes to my inbox but is missing 1/3 of the graphics. PLEASE UN-SPAM this! Give me a way in settings to permanently un-spam an email you keep marking as spam.

Well, to start, how about making your entire AOL website user friendly!!!!! Without calling for help, there is no way you can find things.
I want to change myl contact information but there are no instructions on your website. Very very poor website! Last year you changed it from a good website to a bad website. Why would you do that? Now, I can't find anything. It's so frustrating I want to stop using AOL. I tried to call for help but was told I needed to pay. NOT good!!!!
How can I change my contacts? Terrible website.

We need a wild card filter for spam auto block/delete. I'm getting way too many from *.*.*.nl
AOL member names must have been hacked! I'm getting scores of spam emails all ending in domain '.nl'. It takes me forever to sort through them all and do delete or block senders.
Can you allow us to enter filters with wildcards that will block certain domains? I've been using aol e-mails since the early days and don't want to change but I will soon have to make a switch.

Need help getting rid of an ad that keeps popping up
I clicked on what I thought was an email titled "Neurological Institute." Now I'm constantly get ads from the same place or something that's related. There is no box to the left of it for me to choose delete or report as spam, etc. Instead of a box there is a picture that if I click on opens the ad. The customer service rep I was speaking with told me to ask for someone like head of technical assistance, but I forget their exact title. My case is #31016390

I've received the following messages when I try to send emails to an MSN.com email address via Outlook:

Unable to access Comments
I'm currently having a problem accessing the Comments. Signed into AOL on Microsoft Edge and couldn't pull up Comments there either. AOL's live chat was no help, nor was calling them directly. They said the only way for an IT Tech to see if this even warrants their attention is to read a post on this Feedback. And when you first submit the feedback, it winds up really low on the totem pole (somewhere in the thousands).

automatically block spam mails. if mails from Walmart for example don't come from Walmart e-mail, just block them. you know it's spam
you know there are thousands of mails you can block them. There are hundreds of mails daily from walmart, costco for example that come from various e-mail addresses. you know they are spam. Costco will only send mails from Costco. you can do more to help out e-mail users.

Problems
when I move mail from the new mail folder to the folder files the email says it has moved..
but the mail still stays in the new mail folder and will not leave the new mail floder? If I close aol app and turn off phone then turn phone on the mail will disappear??
I can delete it but not move mail from new mail.I'm using a Samsung phone android operating system..
this has been going on for 2+ weeks very frustrating?
