Don't allow pictures in comments
I think that AOL would be better off if there were no pictures allowed in the comment section. The pic's (gif's, jpeg,etc) are very annoying and many are insulting and nasty but when reported they are only taken down for a few minutes then they're put right back up same as reported comments. I'm a paid AOL subscriber and feel I am being insulted when just anyone can come on AOL (free) and use the comment section to insult, ridicule and threat people and AOL does nothing to stop it even when reported. Apparently I have been permanently banned from commenting on any AOL stories.
Remove the permanent ban upon my account which keeps me from posting comments to news stories on AOL. As a paying AOL member, I have yet to figure out why I have been permanently banned. I know my comments have not violated the community guidelines and feel that this ban is not only unjustified, but targeted. It has been over two years since I was banned and, quite frankly, for this level of service I can take my business elsewhere.

Report all comments
Everyone can & should report all comments to AOL. There's lots of false information out there. I usually put "other" ......then I feedback AOL telling them they need to censor all comments regardless of content. Anyone can do this. Please help do this.

Go back to old email format, do you care how many dislike the new format? I'm getting tired of the unfriendly format.

New email Reply format with automatic bulleting when you press the enter key to start a new line or paragraph is clumsy.
When replyng to an email, the earlier format that didn't automatically bullet new lines was more efficient. The new format confounds narrative paragraphs. If we need to bullet an item, an asterisk or dash is sufficient.

So many issues with AOL. When I delete emails, many are marked as SPAM and sent to the SPAM folder, so I have to manually delete ea email
My idea is to fix the flaws in AOL! Deleted emails show up in SPAM folder, even though they are not SPAM and were deleted and not marked as spam; or many deleted emails show up again in my Outlook Inbox; AOL has requested that several of the vendors I deal with unsubscribe me, even though I never requested this; I keep getting the pop-up box in Outlook. The list is long and troublesome.

Comments are being invested with automatic programs, not real people. I don't know if you know this and if it is okay with aol. I thought you should know
Most of these programs don't answer to your reply when you say you are a program or if you say you did not properly address the discussion. What's scary is some of these programs are learning programs and start to use the facts you use on your replies. Talk about technology. And so far they are all anti Trump programs. "Moderators" are not adhering to AOLs guidelines.
My comment to a Reply was rejected. The content of the Reply was worse than my comment to it. How does that work? Does anyone "moderating" know the AOL guidelines?

Censor all comments
Every AOL member has the power to censor all comments regardless of content. Every comment comes with a few little dots next to the comment.....you can report the comment for various reasons. I click on "other" & I tell AOL to censor all comments regardless of content. If your comments are being censored for no reason.......report & censor all comments. You can not censor all comments for it is too much but do as many as you can.

On the news feed allow me to exclude certain subjects that I never want to see. Also, allow me to delete a news story so I don't see it again when I scroll at a later time. Frustrating that you have 50 to 75 stories and I might be interested in only a dozen or so. It wastes my time.
