  1. This feedback forum is useless. AOL does nothing to fix the problems AOL creates.

    Does anyone at AOL even read this feedback? It doesn't seem so. The comments section on news articles is getting worse and worse. It's like AOL's programmers for the comments' forum don't have a clue as to what they are doing. It was working fairly well before AOL started using a pop-up for comments instead of just taking users directly to the comment in the CORRECT article when a user clicks on a comment in their profile or a notification that someone liked or commented on the user's comment.   2. I am experiencing trouble opening my aol

    When I try to log in, after six digit verification. the browser spins and does not open emails.. I have tried uninstallng AOL and turning off cell phone. NOTE: This issue is only on my Android and not my PC.

    Just how many complaints does AOL require users to post on this Feedback Forum before someone in your IT Department decides it's worthy enough to do something about it? The only way you can currently circumvent your system is to click on your own posts and locate the article you responded to and click on that. Maybe, if you're lucky, it will open up another window where you can scroll down, hit "View Comments" and your post will appear (along with any likes, dislikes and/or replies.   4. Stop arbitrary and capticious what you call community standards rejections

    I am realy getting sick and tired of your arbitrary and capricious rejections of my comments. I have posted quotes from news articles that aol posted and had them rejected under my comment and I have copied and posted the exact words used against me and only changed the name and been rejected and have had posts directed atTrmp with foul language accepted by aol then copied and posted the SAME comment changing name to Biden and then get rejected. Rejects occure when meerly the word you is inserted directing a comment back to a commentor and that is ridiculous.…

  6. Fix the rejection issue that I am experiencing

    All my posts are rejected, when I appeal, my appeals are denied. My posts are respectful, truthful, and verifiable with no curse words or misspelled words. When I reported the issue to you customer service via chat, they sent me to this feedback forum to fix the issue. It is very annoying and as a dues paying customer, if it is not addressed soon, I will stop paying for my AOL service. I can get bad service for free.

  7. Notifications not working in articles

    In AOL articles, my notifications are showing I have notifications but when I click on the icon I get a message saying, "No Notifications Yet - start interacting with others and your inbox will be full in no time" This has been going on for 2 days. This is not the first time this has happened. Why does this happen and how can it be fixed?

    Every comment when I reply to a comment on an article IS REJECTED. There are absolutely no objectionable words in my comment. Example: "I agree". is rejected.

    AOL has flagged my account for comments. I have seen many frequent commenters who have posted offensive statements continuing to be able to post comments yet I have not been able to post for over 6 months.

    However, the AOL AI censoring system is very crude. Even when I am quoting the person above me, whom I am answering, my comment may be removed. Or when I am quoting a phrase from the article I am referring to, that may also be wrong for the censor.
    Please try to make your "cultural standards" a bit more sensitive.
    I am 83, in poor health, and hardly ever get out. So communicating by computer is very important to me.

  14. Well, to start, how about making your entire AOL website user friendly!!!!! Without calling for help, there is no way you can find things.

    I want to change myl contact information but there are no instructions on your website. Very very poor website! Last year you changed it from a good website to a bad website. Why would you do that? Now, I can't find anything. It's so frustrating I want to stop using AOL. I tried to call for help but was told I needed to pay. NOT good!!!!

  16. Unable to access Comments

    I'm currently having a problem accessing the Comments. Signed into AOL on Microsoft Edge and couldn't pull up Comments there either. AOL's live chat was no help, nor was calling them directly. They said the only way for an IT Tech to see if this even warrants their attention is to read a post on this Feedback. And when you first submit the feedback, it winds up really low on the totem pole (somewhere in the thousands).

  17. automatically block spam mails. if mails from Walmart for example don't come from Walmart e-mail, just block them. you know it's spam

    you know there are thousands of mails you can block them. There are hundreds of mails daily from walmart, costco for example that come from various e-mail addresses. you know they are spam. Costco will only send mails from Costco. you can do more to help out e-mail users.

  20. Provide actual customer service.

    All of my posts to the news articles are being summarily rejected. I have not been able to get a reason why. The 'chat' feature said I should call the help line. The help line techs said they only deal with email problems, that I should post 'feedback'. And yet, "This forum is not monitored for any support-related issues."
    Just try to find any way to get meaningful support on this site. Does AOL have any real idea what 'customer support' actually means?
