Yes -- Hurricane Season. The people have days of advance notice, and clean air to drive through an unencumbered area to get out. How about the people in Portland who are truly trapped and face burning to try to get away? Can you please give some play to the rest of the country? No doubt hurricanes are weather events. But you do realize that you are more and more an Atlanta area and parts South and East weather channel? I have had The Weather Channel on for almost five years straight while my Mother is in the living room in hospice, and 90% of what you report is the South and East. Unless there is a situation that cannot be ignored. And yet you give such little play to the West Coast. I watch so that I can see what is happening across the entire country. You need to report more COUNTRY WIDE. You give maybe five minutes out of the hour to report about the West Coast. Are you a National Weather Channel like you say you are? I think not. Oh -- and reporting about Portland's red-line neighborhoods -- do you really need to do that right now? Don't you think there are more pressing issues at hand?
