Recently I started receiving a lot of spam, some are very nasty. How can I stop this?

Hi there,
While most spam should be caught by our Spam filters, occasionally some can slip through. If that does happen it's very important to mark the email as Spam. It lets our system learn that messages from a specific place are not good and helps us make AOL Mail even better at recognizing future spam emails. Additionally, you can create filters to send specific emails to Trash, on the webmail at mail.aol.com and they will work while on the app as well. Block people or contacts you don’t want to talk with or don’t want to have anything to do with cause they are toxic people

I am also receiving a ridiculous amount of spam in my
Inbox. Very frustrating!
