How can we improve the AOL app?

Allow setting to default to inbox when opening app

I use AOL app primarily for mail. Until a few days ago, the app opened directly to my inbox. Now it suddenly opens to the Home tab, and I can’t find any way to set it to my preference.

    Make MAIL the FIRST place to see as the HOME!! Home should always be MAIL!!

    This is really bad, y'all. The news is not a safe place for anyone and shouldn't be forced at people who can't consent. This is wrong.

    No long story here. Switch it back to default to mail inbox soon or I am switching my email account to Gmail.

    Default to home page is annoying. I only use this app because Verizon outsourced their email service. And now it keeps switching back to the home page without my input. Change it back, please.

    There’s no way to change this
    I do not want to see news headlines when I open my email
    We are bombarded by this **** everywhere now
    You’re trying to make more money from ads when people click on those stories. Sick of it

    Well, Since I'm not the only one with the issue and it seems you guys AOL doesn't wanna change that because next year is that terrible time of presidential elections and you need to sell your division-people agenda by making people watch those useless news about useless politicians, my app is gone... Thanks for nothing!

    I don’t understand why they’re waiting so long to change this back. I’m sure it’s just a setting. You see that people are revolted by the change and yet it hasn’t been turned back. I’ll easily switch email users you’re not going to force your biased news on me. Speed it up. Change it back.

    Give us an option to open aol at the mail inbox … your online version allows users to choose … what gives here

    Time for “looking into it” is up. If you can’t (won’t) make opening into inbox the default, then at least give us the option on the IOS App to where the user wants it to open.

    This needs changed. If I want a news app I’ll download one, I use this for email. I do not need it to open to news first! Change this!!

    Take me to mail when I open the app. If you refuse to do that, DO NOT continue to show me Donald Trump EVERY TIME.
