New IOS version sucks. Can we please go back to old version where it opened to mailbox not the news or something dumb thanks

iOS update version rather sucky. Need to go back to iOS version before. Want to open app to my mail not to News or some dumb stuff. Sorry just being bluntly honest about this!!!
