Can go back to old version of AOL for e-mail. Also, have more options and features to customise how use it. Some of the features it had were very useful. I don't know if want us to use your services anymore. This is one way of doing it. I think you are going backwards. Ask the users what we want not what you think we need.

I emailed the Concierge offices of OATH.com (which is handling former Verizon emails). You can send an email to concierge.help@oath.com and let them know your dissatisfaction with the 'new look.
Per my contact is a response by one of the Concierge representatives for their executive offices.
Per Oath Concierge:
'There is a new webmail experience that is rolling out to customers (geographically) that provides an experience and features that many people have requested. (Of course, to provide what many want there will be some that don't want it.) You can confirm this for me by providing the full URL when you're logged in to the site.In the meantime, try going directly to one of the following:
The standard New AOL Mail at: https://mail.aol.com/d/
The standard old AOL Mail at: https://mail.aol.com/webmail-std/en-us/suite
For more information on the New AOL Mail experience, check out the following AOL Help Article:https://help.aol.com/articles/overview-of-new-aol-mail';
I was using Opera when accessing my emails, but went to Microsoft Edge and the standard version loaded my emails to the format I am used to seeing.
I hope this helps anyone having the same issues I was having.

This is horrendous. Read e-mails remain in the InBox and get in the way of finding e-mails that have not yet been read. To move something you have to a) select it, b) choose where to move it to, and c) Apply. Excuse me?!
You have taken a very workable, easy to use system and messed it up so that I really now want to just bail on AOL. Which I have used since I first started using e-mail way back in the mists of time.

Here's an idea. In order to get away from this new format, give us a button that takes us back to the old format. Thanks.

Ich habe bei der neuen AOL Version keine Möglichkeit gefunden, Schriftformen oder Farben zu ändern. Ich möchte auch Cc/Bcc nicht mehr angezeigt bekommen, wo kann ich das abwählen.

Get back to the old format IMMEDIATELY.
- this new one is chaotic
- settings can't be saved, you have to do the setting again, even if you are just switching to another folder and back - how user-UN-friendly you can get????
- the "help" site tells me to go to "options" - there is no menu "options"have you been hacked or what???
When will you act??? -
SHARON KRAFT commented
GO BACK TO THE OLD FORMAT AS SOON AS POSSIBLE.

Tell the 8 year olds who re did this design they should of stayed in school and learned something. This is not a joke, it is an obvious attempt to get rid of us so you can merge with Yahoo your new owner. Then you can fire everyone on AOL and just manage one email platform
-
Bob Dransman commented
Now I can't even store new emails in the folders where they belong. PLEEEZE GIVE US BACK THE OLD FORMAT!
(And yes, I know you're positioning all of your email customers to port to YAHOO Mail, but we don't want that either.)

PAMELA ZETTLEMOYER commented
Improve your format by going back to the old one, nothing was wrong with it, now it is ****. No news and the email is screwed up. May as well stay with Outlook

RODMEN NELSON commented
The new AOL format for composing an e-Mail does not have the features such as: Font Type, Font size, Bold lettering, Indenting, etc.
Please go back to the old formal view of AOL's e-Mail box page.

We wish. This just may be the motivator to get me to close my AOL account after almost 40 years. No way to insert links? Who got paid to take that feature out? Unbelievable.
