Why do I pay AOL every month and return you people over load my in box with over 100 spam emails every day. You make it impossible to stop them.
I have to believe that you do it on purpose to sell me something else, that if you were a decent email provider would already be included. Please get back to me I'm at my wits end. My next and only avenue would seem to opt-out of this scam **** hole. I have to look at the address for everyone of those since every now and then you include one of my valid folks I do business with. God knows I've said that it's not spam enough.

I agree that there is a problem with the current spam setup. Up until a month or so ago, I could go into the spam folder, select all, then under more it had a word to "block addressee". Now I can only delete them. The same ones keep coming back day after day. If I'm not on for several hours there are over 25 in the spam folder. I have to look at all the subjects because some good emails slip through the cracks. Please return to the setup you had a little over a month ago where I can "block" spam addressees.

Why can't I block spam mail address's any more? Sad, just sad!!! Unsubscribe from sender doesn't work. It just adds you to more spam mail. Yall need to let us block url's. Such @xxxxxxx.com. All they have to do is change their address but use the same url's.

1) Tell me what happens to Potential Spam e-mails that ARE Spam and, once I delete them I cannot see them in the Recently Deleted Folder to Permanently Delete
2) Please set up a block for all SPAM and allow user to BLOCK in BATCHES, not one-by-one and no limit of 1,000.

Spam messages have steadily increased over the past few weeks. Last week = 35 messages day.
That has increased to 70 messages today. AOL, please fix this! Now!! -

I've had my AOL email account for years. I've always received, as well as the people I know who also use AOL, a fair amount of SPAM. When I say a fair amount, for me I'm referring to about 200 SPAMS a week. That is until a month or so ago. Now I'm receiving over a thousand SPAM emails weekly!!! It's absolutely ridiculous. I've tried about everything I know to stop this excessive "****" but nothing seems to work. And yes, I've tried the SPAM blocking via AOL although the limit is 1,000. I RARELY receive SPAM on my gmail or outlook accounts. Whatever they're doing to control SPAM, AOL needs to do the same.

I was NOT receiving any spam mail for years. This year (2022) starting with May or June, your automatic spam filters are no longer working. I use IMAP to a 3rd party client (Outlook). To contribute to your spam candidates do I have to login to your site and right-click and choose "Report Spam", or can I just drag the spam form my inbox to my BULK folder locally?

It should be no surprise that they're doing something evil with AOL. I've been with AOL since the 1990s, as have most of its users. Spam is suddenly getting through to regular email, and regular email is going through to spam.
Most people don't regularly check their spam folder. They will miss out on important stuff--like paying bills.
Friends that I've written to for 20+ years suddenly have emails go to spam. I click "not spam" for them, but their next emails go to spam, too. My family has ordered from Amazon for many years, and Amazon responses about the orders are suddenly spam. AOL knows Amazon (the biggest sender of email in the world) is not spam. This has to be INTENTIONAL.
From AOL Support:
... "Hi ****. The more often you mark these emails as Not Spam, the more you train your personal mail filter to recognize them as legit. I'm sorry there is no quick fix for this."
Creepy! AOL why are you doing this? Yes, I have a gmail account, but you can't trust Google, either!
