GO BACK TO CLASSIC EMAIL
I just want classic email back. I've had it since 1995. Can't handle the change, don't mess up what already works.

Don't you get it, Google owns AOL and they want to phase it out and make us use *@gmail so they can monitor our email more easily for key words and censer us like Facebook does.
This isn't even AOL its "user voice" trying to gain information on users. -

Time to start listening to customers. If I view a sent email - I see the contact name, but not the email address. If I print the email - it shows the email address, but not the contact name.
ANYONE at AOL have any logical sense? Or were you only concerned with a "pretty" email, as if content did not matter? Emails need to be available for potential legal purposes. All details matter! -

PLEASE go back to the classic format. I absolutely HATE this so called improvement. It is confusing, unresponsive and much harder to navigate.
-
Kimberly Lugo commented
Not only do the formatting changes SUCK but emails take forever. I get blocked due to the fact that AOL is so bad and other emails take a day to arrive. AOL you had bigger problems to deal with than making a tiny font email system that spits on disloyal users for decades.

I have been on Aol for very long time, but I'm very disappointed with your new arrangement
-

Don't tell me to login when I already have logged in.
When I reply to an email sent to me from a friend
if my reply consists of more than one(1) line
the next line goes down out of sight and I must
overtly scroll down to see what I am typing.
This is really bad behavior.
Also I have lost some emails that I have been
unable to recover. Some emails have gone to spam
when I have had no intention of sending them to the
spam folder. There are many other items that I find
objectionable. How do I get your attention so that
you will get me back to the old format?
Keep up the good work.

QUESTION
"HOW TO IMPROVE THE NEW AOL MAIL?"
THE ANSWER IS SIMPLE
"Implementing in the NEW AOL MAIL all the features that were in the OLD AOL MAIL"
IN OTHER WORDS, IT ' S EASIER

I haven't been on Aol for very long, but I'm very disappointed by the inopportune and repeated changes to emails.
I can't manage to increase the size of the alerts in my mailbox and it's really very, very unpleasant . -
LIZ HOSKINSON commented
Cindy Thatcher is correct. STOP CHANGING. "Change' is not "improvement." Going by the comments here, it looks like your so-called improvements have only aggravated your users. Also, get rid of the ****-oriented ads. Yes, we know what they are, and just because you want to attract younger users, don't alienate the few remaining users of AOL that you have...

With the OLD AOL MAIL after the first entry of an email address, the address was stored an memorized. With the NEW AOL MAIL this doesn't happen. So, could you implement this funtion and, in general, ALL THE FANTASTI FUNCTIONS OF THE OLD AOL MAIL?

Rene Joseph Litalien commented
I have written comments from the get go so other users. Nothing is really changing, It says post new ideas. The idea is to listen to comments that have been coming in and be honest and post some solution on some of the issues for instance the contacts list and contacts functions totally essential in communicating with people via e-mail.

Rene Joseph Litalien commented
It is impossible to work with Contacts files. They come and go as you call or recall them they appear and or not sometines in order and some other time Contact list that have not use for 6 year comes up for no reason. I have tried to create a new diffusion list and I am still working on how I will be able to do it; I am using an old one but it will not allow me to add new addresses. So I am adding new colleagues and employees one by one every time I need to communicate with a specific group. COMMON THIS IS 2023, I feel like I should just by pass the whole thing and go back to a plain a basic phone with a switch board and audiobox.

I like the new themes and reading my email is a breeze. I've been using Outlook forever and AOL is so much nicer now. Thank you

I would definitely pay for the original AOL Mail too!
-
MARCIA SLOTKOWSKI commented
I'm not paying $10.21 any more for this ****** email service. Before the change I was happy with the old AOL Mail but now I'm not anymore. If you go back to the original AOL Mail, I will pay it!

IGNACIO MARTINEZ commented
It is a wonder how you turned the tens of thousands comments rejecting the email to about 800. Did you happen to manage the last elections?
-
IGNACIO MARTINEZ commented
And you still haven't changed the email scheme! And apparently won't. Not even include the minimal sorting by sender !!!! Well, you would be delighted to know that I only use AOL mail to post here, complain and see how unresponsive can a company be. The rest of the time I simply use Mozilla Thunderbird which has a logical, useful email handling structure. As an added side-effect, I don't see your ads nor your leftist political postings. Great!
