GO BACK TO CLASSIC EMAIL
I just want classic email back. I've had it since 1995. Can't handle the change, don't mess up what already works.

Please stop changing the format. I came back from vacation and everything was different, it has taken me forever to figure it out & I don't like it! I'm not good on the computer and this makes it even harder!

What stops YAHOO from taking note that ,obiectively, the OLD AOL FORMAT was preferred by all users and therefore RESTORE IT ,allowing those who want to return to it?

I hate the dynamic messages and I can't stop them even though I follow the directions to cancel them. Give me the old format. If I can't return to the old format, I'll cancel AOL and go to gmail. I've used AOL for many, many, many years and am very disappointed in the new format.

I have used AOL since the early 90's. Back in the "YOU"VE GOT MAIL" days when AOL was distributed free on floppy disks and even paid for it for a number of years.
.
When you recently started with this new format, I immediately thought. WEll, here it is. The beginning of the last dying throes of another aged pioneer who doesn't know how to evolve. I requested that you revert to the format you have provided us so reliably for years but it's obvious by now, that you're not going to do it. And I guess I understand that in a way
.
On one hand I can understand, that compared to the number of users you have. and the number of people I see have complained, you would not have any huge reason to change back to your old format. I know that your board room dwellers see it as "not many are complaining" They just can't conceive of the idea that the REAL reason is "There's not that many who care what you do anymore" I constantly have people ask me' with a snicker "You still use AOL ? ? " " REALLY ? "
However, you will eventually know for sure when you see that even these changes will not stem the ongoing decline in AOL users.
.
You have been providing your service for long time now and it's obvious that someone there has their head somewhere where the sun doesn't shine and that this annoying but insignificant change is not going to help your obvious problems and stop your eventual demise. Your management has obviously aged and you are not listening to anyone young enough to make you realize what you're doing wrong compared to your competition.
.
One thing though, that I must commend you for is that I really find it unusual that in today,s climate, you are not listening to a minority of your customers who want to tell you how to run your business. After all, at least someone there must drink beer and read sports magazines and has seen the results of that policy.
But, I daresay, you have not looked into the future far enough.
.
Read a little further, You'll see that your done. You just wont admit it yet. You're old and brittle and not flexible enough to exist in these times.
.
It's been a good ride

How much feedback do you need to convince you to go back to the old AOL Mail?
This new format is for 6 year olds. Does this feedback get back your CEO or is he out on his yacht all the time? Go back to the the old AOL. -

Not one positive comment and yet the new AOL continues unabated. No doubt the gang that came up with this farce will think that if they ignore it for long enough then the complaints will go away. Well they will but only because the users have gone.

I absolutely HATE the new layout. It is EXTREMELY SLOW and I don't even like to sign on to get my email. It's very very frustrating.

New AOL is complete trash. Fire who come up with it !

CHARLES HAUSER commented
Too much windows, and the messages window is now too short.
We cannot change the characters size as we want.
Is it possible to have the Cci available easier?
Thank you for your interest to improve your product.

Font is now difficult to read. There was nothing wrong with the old format. Change for changes sake is not advancement

I also need the classic email format as I am contemplating leaving AOL.

It's been almost a Year since this horrible new UI was released and to be honest, not one improvement has been seen in that time. Do you guys not read this comments or ever do regression testing? I'm at the point where I'll just setup an IMAP within Gmail - which I hate, but just can't take the annoying Ad panel on the right side anymore!
