How can we improve AOL Mail?

Colors? Fonts?

What happened to pre-setting a text color? Or options for fonts? This is not better, not if I have to make selections each time I go to compose a new e-mail. Change can be good, but not when you lose options instead of gaining new ones.

Hi there. To set your default composing font, please go to Settings (gear icon)>More Settings>Writing email>Default rich-text font>select from the drop downs the type of font you prefer and the font size.     Currently I am endeavouring to paste text from another document into an email I am composing online. Its a horrible and time-wasting experience, the strings cannot be connected, ie joined up into a running whole. I cannot see why. And assume that frames or separators of some sort are in the way. Probably useful to be able to see them, ? turn on a View mode so they appear? something like that?

    An ancillary problem / fault is that when you open the "AA" Font Style and Size button in the toolbar on webmail, the font currently in use [ or eg washed over with the cursor,] does not show up. The size is ticked, the style is not marked as in use.

    And please donlt direct me to " X " or Facebook to talk about this, I wish to be involved with neither of them. CompuServe email should be used.

    Concerning FONT SIZES: Any chance there could be a FONT size 12 added to the list? It would be most appreciated if that would be possible.

    Also, how do we keep the FONT the same? It seems to keep changing on its own/defaulting back to a particular font. How do we keep that from happening? Thank you!

    You have ********* the type so badly. Sentences suddenly diminish in size and it's extremely difficult to re-instate the old size. Even if you do, there's no gaurantee it will stay that way after it's sent.
    I'm still looking into other carriers. I do intend to drop AOL.

    The new system stinks !! For one, I can't change the type face (size & fonts) and have it stick : it just reverts to whatever might be defaut or whatever the **** the system wants. I contacted AOL tech support and they can't do anything about it. Any time I want to adjust the type face I have to open up the formatting bar ... which makes the messaging space SMALLER ... which is small anyway. On the old setup, those options were at the top, always available without flip-flopping back 'n forth to adjust things.
    HORRIBLE system !!

    Your stupid e-mail system is set to be a 12 point type, but it keeps going back to 10 point in the test that I send in a e-mail. I have to recheck the text size every time I send an e-mall. AOL managment and programmers are stupid! You had a decent e=mail system that needed some work to be great and the dark mode option. Instead you create a piece of **** e-mail system. AOL managment and programmers are stupid!

    AOL works fine, Every once in a while changes are made that ***** things up. Get rid of the programmers that make changes that ***** things up!!!

    There should be at least 10 different fonts to choose from to use when writing an outgoing email. AND we should be able to pre-set so as not to have to set up font type, size and color each and every time. I want to customize, and I want more variety in font and sizes!

    I want my new outgoing emails to default to my own customized settings for font type, font size, font color, etc. I do NOT want to change it with every **** outgoing email!!! If I want it different than what I've customized, I can always do that if I want. But this is RIDICULOUS that I can't write a new email without having to change each setting!!

    I cannot find a way to change my email type size as a default. Emails in the queue, yes. Emails I am typing, no. I have to change every single one so the type size is not enormous.
    I like the large size in the email queue - but I changed it to see if I could get the type size back to small. No such luck.
    And what's with "small" anyway? You used to give the font points.

    I have mine set to just use whatever font the sender used.

    The font is too light and faded when you open email on the Desktop Gold.I do not like the desktop Gold.

    Not an idea; but a complaint about settings made do not lock in and have to be reset for each email composed...in particular the text color that never locks in but rather defaults to black, C'mon engineers!!
