NEW PROBLEM: Can't select and copy email addresses
I’ve been using AOL email for at least 20 years. The problem described below started happening about two months ago – maybe June or May of 2026. I have a Windows PC running Windows 11 Pro version 25H2.
BACKGROUND:
I send emails to groups of people. The first step is to put a list name in the BCC field. This populates the field with the email addresses that are in that list. What is the monthly fee for?
You charge us the monthly fee, then we have to pay some geeks to tell us how to fix a problem. If it takes to long for the explanation and instructions, our conversation is broken into and the geek told to go faster. We're paying for something that has never cost before and they're timing it. AOL is becoming greedier and shabbier then wonders why they're losing their ????.

Allow an email attachment to be opened without downloading it
In previous versions, one could open an attachment without having to download and save it. Please return that feature. If one wants to download and save an attachment, that should be a choice, not a default.

2 factor authentication with WhatsApp
As a test, when I sign into my AOL account (at the two factor authentication step), I choose to receive a code through WhatsApp. Here is the thing : on the iPhone app, I receive the code without problem.
However, if I check WhatsApp on a computer at the address web.whatsapp.com, the code is not received. This happens all the time.
I don't know if it is an AOL bug or if the fault lies with the web version of WhatsApp .707th ranked -

The ability to whitelist a domain
Please add the ability to whitelist email domains. I get voicemail to email notifications from my home phone which all go to spam. I have trouble receiving mail from vm.vonage.com and vm.slic.com

Make it easier to shrink the size of the AOL window. Right now the window fills the screen and I can't access the arrows that usually appear at the bottom right of the window/screen.

SPAM
I get certain emails all the time...and now, all of a sudden, and it's hit or miss, you're asking me if its save of not. If I've interacted with the sender before, especially for YEARS, stop asking me that stupid question. Sometime multiple times almost near each other.
Certainly you have a way to figure out the algorithm, right? You're a tech company, right? Then I get emails that are obviously spam that end up in my in box.
Get your act together please.

Attachment disappears - PLEASE FIX
I use AOL through chrome. When I send an email with an attachment, everything works fine.
However, when I receive a reply from the recipient, the attachment has disappeared and is no longer in the thread.Please fix this so the attachments are retained throught the thread of emails.

Why can't I insert multiple images in mail anymore. I can still do it on my phone, just not on my computer.
Until recently I could insert up to about 10 images into an email, depending on size. I still can, but I have to put them in one at a time, which means going and finding them each time, instead of selecting a batch and putting them in with one click. Please give us that back! I can still put in multiple images on my phone, just not on my computer. Why?

GET RID of new sidebar with company info!
A sidebar now pops up when I read emails showing the company information, it takes up a good part of my screen and prevents me from scrolling quickly through emails!!!! GET RID OF THIS!!!!!

Feature Request: Option to Hide the Spam Folder from AOL Mail's Navigation Menu
I would like AOL Mail to introduce an optional setting that allows users to hide the Spam folder from the main navigation menu without disabling spam protection or deleting any messages.
Ideally, this feature would:
• Hide the Spam folder and its message count from the main folder list.
• Continue filtering and receiving spam normally.
• Preserve messages and existing automatic deletion schedules.
• Provide an easy way to access the hidden Spam folder through Settings or a folder-management menu.
• Allow users to restore the folder's visibility whenever they choose.

Rather than manually searching for a particular filter from a list of email filters, I would value the capabilty of sorting filters to facilitate a search.
