Why are the new font color choices so pale? They are almost unreadable and don't provide any contrast with the usual black font. Useless!
Bring back the old clear, strong color font choices. They were easy to read and provided clear contrasts with the usual black font. These new pale choices are almost unreadable and therefore useless!

sort by sender
Sort by sender in New Mail is needed. It's available in folders, but not New Mail, which is where I like to filter things out. New Mail currently only allows to sort by date. I've had to create a new folder to put new mail into so I can sort it, but if I don't deal with it immediately it tends to get forgotten because it's not in the New Mail that I see each time I log in. Thank you!

Remove offensive ads
I am really ****** off at your new policy of 'paying' to remove ads on the aol mail page after suddenly flooding that ad space with offensive ads: suggestive, leering women looking out at me! Takes over 10 minutes for email to open
My email won't open. I've cleared browser history several times and the email doesn't load. The screen churns for 5 minutes or more. Any suggestions?

In the last several days, I have been receiving obviously spam emails from a variety of school districts: rpsb.us, Dcsdk12.org, lvusd.org, boiseschools.org with different usernames attached, and am wondering if there a social media post going viral showing kids how to create spam or a new ploy of spoofing legitimate addresses or possibly an organization hacking into school district servers. There have been about 30 emails in the past week, and the number and addresses keep increasing. I would hate to have to block, for example, all .org mails because of my legitimate organizations and charities. Please advise.

Provide a way to disable Spam filtering
I keeping getting mail marked as Spam that is not. In fact this week every piece of email marked as spam was NOT spam. So either AOL gives me a way to stop your spam filtering, or I am going to have to stop using AOL. There were important messages misdirected. Yes they were from email addresses not in my contact list, but that does NOT make them spam.

filters
The only reason I look at my spam folder is to make sure no "legit" mail has wound up there. To make this more efficient, I have created a number of filters based on the domain names from spam messages, with the instruction to send messages from those domains to the trash. However, messages that should have been caught by these filters keep ending up in my spam folder. I want to have them bypass the spam folder, and just go directly to the trash, so that I don't have to wade through as many messages when checking to see…

writing email settings
*******, not a new idea but complaints have done NOTHING. No changes or improvements. I'm writing about the Settings / More Settings / Writing email. I want my font to be bigger, for one thing. I set it at 12 and when I compose, it's a 10. I know how to follow instructions.

What the **** is the reason you block logins when traveling and demand extra unwanted and unneeded verification.
No other email does that and it makes you the worst email service in the world .
