Bias in your e-mail filters
For years I have received daily e-mails from a Catholic organization. Lately, each e-mail has a banner asking if this message is safe. Is this due to some sort of bias on your part? Each time, I mark it as safe, and the very next day, same thing. Yet, you often miss obvious spam that I have to mark and delete.

Preloading unread newmail
Why the **** do you keep loading subsequent UNREAD new emails for viewing when I have not selected it to be read. Leave it as is (NEWMAIL) until it is selected to be read. I am sick of having to go back and mark 'UNREAD" to preserve the NEW status

Today On Aol
I used to look at Today On AOL for it's news content. It has now become so full of ads its just trash. Much like the rest of what AOL has become.

Email change language
The email that I received turned to Greek in the computer, both on AOL Desktop Gold and AOL website. ALready did troubleshooting as necessary. ON the other hand, the same email on the phone is still in English. Even the preview of the email in the computer is in English but when opened, it goes to Greek.

We need BETTER default settings in Writing Emails
B4 ur ****** recent changes, we could set DEFAULT font - with MORE FONTS to choose from! Also we could choose the COLOR of the font as default for composing emails. PLEEZ BRING THAT BACK!!!! Why on earth would ur company take that away? It was great, now it's not. WTF?

Dumb Idea making you enter an email address into contacts when it use to do it automatically....
I have been with AOL for 25 years and if you sent anyone an email it was logged in your address book automatically. Your tech team obviously doesn't understand business otherwise they would know time is money. I don't want to log every email I send as a contact in order to access the email again. I never though I would leave AOL but this is such a waste of my time.

Problems with Search Mail Function and Attachments
Please include the Recently Deleted folder when searching for messages from a particular person. The searches I have been doing not only leave out messages from the Recently Deleted Folder, but also from other folders (Old, Sent). This is very frustrating. Also, please place the attachments on the bottom of the message that they are attached to, not at the bottom of the initial message. It is very confusing.

How can I stop
How can I stop the email from going to read main when the highlight stops on the new e mail. I dont always read the e mail right away and then it disappears when I dont want it to.

give option to dispense with "Unread" folder
Under my Inbox folder on the left-side menu in email, there is another folder called Unread.
Please give users an OPTION to completely DELETE that folder. It's of no use to me and probably many others.654th ranked -

show messages with attachments on message list with an icon
Outlook shows a paperclip icon on messages that have attachments. AOL Mail needs to do something similar so we know to beware when opening. Or when searching it's obvious which ones we're looking for.

Stop continual pop ups advertising ad-free AOL when I currently am already ing paying and using that on another email address on this acct
These pop ups just started recently. I have been paying for AOL for years and only recently started the ad-free service on another address in this account. I would think AOL should know this, but with this poor rollout of the new version, it’s not unexpected.

Vacation Auto-Reply Option Unavailable
I see no option to set up vacation auto-reply under Settings. There is no "More Settings" on the menu--as there's supposed to be according to the Help section!

The email system is terrible now
The new changes messed me up badly. I lost old mail. The way mail is managed means I have to exit to keep changes. I want to go back to AOL, not previous screen. Did the message get deleted or is it kept? How would I know?

old email version
This new email version sucks. Instead of one small column on the left with files, and the rest being email, it switched to 3 wide columns, and today a 4th. My email list is about 2" wide. THIS IS HORRIBLE!!! I'd opened a GMail account years ago but don't use it. If this isn't fixed soon I'm just moving over to Gmail. This is too hard to read, and the useless other columns/boxes just make it hard to read my inbox, and to type emails - it's just a really bad choice that needs to be re-thunk. I've don't lots…

Please go back to the old format. I find this new one to be very difficult.
