Hi there, I'm happy to help! To check your blocked list, please click on Settings>More Settings>Security and privacy then you should see your blocked contacts under ''Blocked addresses''. If you wish to remove any from that list, simply click on its trash icon.

This is criminal
requiring a code from another email acct which I no longer have, a phone number, and another 'recovery' email is criminal, immoral, despicable, slimy and contemptible - unexpectedly when I've just used a password for over 30 years. aol/yahoo will pay for this!!!!!!!!!!!

Also, why do I have to click twice to delete an email from my email alert section? on irvcarolco@aol.com I must but on Fsynergy1@aol.com I do not. Fix it. Also replace all my family surname addresses that were remoed this week. (CREGER) My primary address is with my name and secondary is Fsynergy1 but you messed them up. Fix it! I notice that almost all complaints are similar; email messed up! Doesn't that tell you something??

Email addresses being unlawfully extracted and stored by AOL
When I look at my contacts list it contains the contacts I have stored.
When I compose a email and search for a email address by typing just the letter A it then presents a whole list of email addresses that have been extracted from forwarded emails that I have received.
Those people are having their email addresses extracted and stored by AOL without their permission. Can you tell me how this is moral and legally correct?Hi, we'd like to hear more about this issue. Exclude search term
The AOL Search FAQ shows that you can exclude keywords. However from what I've seen is that the exclusion (-) minus sign seems to not work and instead acts as if it is not there, and searches for the term rather than exclude it.

Dumb&dumber-asking daily for sign in code-you not a bank
We had truce for a while and world did not collapse. Normally financial institutions allow to log in with VPN down and many allow VPN use. You need to get a life instead acting like tyrants. We should be allowed to travel without being hassled. You not a financial entity or Pentagon but just a dumb jackasses torturing users. God forbid somebody

After a year trying to use this new AOL format I am still having major problems.
I find it very distressing trying to compose emails and having the screen jump or email addresses popping up when I am composing text and often text gets erased; also searching for email addresses or searching for emails that are already stored is an extremely slow process. The whole system is very slow and it takes me forever to do my work.. I am very saddened that the administration of this company has not dealt with these issues. I have been using AOL for over 40 years and I have NEVER had so much trouble and no one in tech…

"looks like spam" function blocks basic emails
Your "cannot send email because it looks like spam" function sucks. It has blocked an email where I am sending links to my wife, and another where I was trying to send a house pic to a contractor. Also, once flagged, the function suggests editing the email, but no amount of tailoring it will allow it to be sent. Remove this function!
Hi. In order to protect all users, we temporarily block sending on accounts that are flagged with spam-like or suspicious sending habits. If you're seeing "suspicious activity detected" or "account temporarily blocked from sending messages", you'll still have access to your mail and receive messages while you wait for the hold to expire, which can take up to 48 hours.
How to avoid this:
- Send your email as plain text if it contains hyperlinks.
- Don't send a large number of emails over a short period of time.
- Remove and re-add the account from any non-AOL Mail apps that may be accessing it.
Possible reasons your account is blocked for suspicious sending habits:
Sending a lot of emails in a short time.
Sending duplicate info in your email repeatedly.
Sending 1 or more emails to a large number of recipients.
Having a message stuck in the Outbox of the AOL Mail…
