  1. keep getting spam from "blocked" senders

    I keep getting SPAM in my folder from @kellykat.com. I've blocked these emails multiple time, but still they come. I'm getting more and more SPAM in my inbox, which I move to SPAM. You always ask if I want to "unsubscribe." I never subscribed to these domains. They are just trying to get AOL to give them legitimate email addresses. Wise up!

We have some solutions for you, please refer to this article to learn how to best manage unwanted emails:  https://help.aol.com/articles/aol-mail-spam-and-privacy  We also added additional security features for AOL Mail: https://help.aol.com/articles/additional-security-features-in-aol-mail  Moreover, the block feature is best used for people, not spam, since spammers can use spoofed accounts. This means, what you see and add to your blocked list might not be the actual sender address. If you need assistance, you can reach out to us at https://help.aol.com/contact/

  4. Why must I "Verify it's me" EVERY TIME I sign in.

    I'm really annoyed that I have to verify my identity EVERY TIME I sign in.
    I do not want or need your so called Security. Cookies are the biggest carrier of virus. I clear cookies after each session. Which is probably the reason you make me verify. BUT I do not want your help. PLEASE STOP it

    Hi there! We take the security of our users very seriously and that's why sometimes you might go through some difficult login processes. Usually this issue should be solved if you check the the box "stay signed in". If you are trying to access your account from a new device you will need to login with your credentials every time for security purposes.   5. Can't add AOL as an accout in Outlook (even with 2 step Verification off)

    I'm out of Ideas. This is a problem with AOL. Fix or I'm gone!

  6. There should be Tech support available to all members...u may charge if say more than twice a yr use.

    Memebers may have issue with their emails like spam etc.
    i recently got too many mails from unknown people organizations etc.
    I sent them to the Spam folder. Then i went to block those senders....but by selecting large numbers, some useful ones may have been blocked. So in setting i went thru blocked senders and removed useful ones from the blocked list.
    However, diue to all this i have not been getting any e mail.
    so, would u pls look at
    HHShah@aol.com account and reinstate getting the email from sources say prior to Dec. 2024

  7. UNUSUAL ACTIVITY AT SIGN IN NEED VERIFICATION

    Stop the DAILY WE HAVE NOTICED UNUSUAL ACTIVITY VERIFICATION! I get this daily!! So sick of it. There's no UNUSUAL activity! It's me, it's always me.....my internet just changes where I get my signal on daily basis!

    Hi. If there's something unusual about your sign in or recent activity, we'll ask you to go through another verification step after you've entered the correct password. This helps protect your account from unauthorized access. You may be prompted to get a verification code on your AOL app, recovery phone number, or recovery email address for any of the following reasons:


    AOL notices suspicious account activity.

    You're using an unfamiliar browser or device.

    You're traveling away from your usual location.

    You sign in while using a VPN or a proxy server.

    You've logged in with a private or incognito window.

    There are many attempts to sign in with incorrect passwords.

    The "First time signing in from this device" message appears.

    You've cleared your browser history or data cache including cookies.

  8. Blocking SPAM

    For a short time - a couple of weeks? - there was a feature on AOL that allowed block and delete SPAM emails with one click. This was the BEST feature ever, and I LOVED it. At last! AOL was doing it right. I was able to click all the bunch of emails - and could send back to regular mail anything that made it to the SPAM folder that was legitimate - and the with one click delete and block all the other senders. I could even see the senders names just to double check. This was the MOSt…

    Hi there. If you have reached the limit of 1000 blocked senders, the option will no longer be displayed. You can remove some email addresses from your blocked list by going to Settings>More Settings>Security and privacy.

    Additionally, the block feature is best used for people, not spam since spammers can use spoofed accounts. Meaning what you see might not be the actual sender address. If those emails are going directly to your Spam folder, then your spam filter is working properly. Also, Spam is automatically deleted from the Spam folder after 30 days. 

  10. All my inbox mail is going into DELETED and accidently deleted. Now I do not have my mail or what I wanted to keep. This is the THIRD time t

    Fix the problem with new mail and kept emails from going into "Recently Deleted" box to get deleted. I did not move them into delete.
    This is the third time it has happened in the last two months. Now no access to my emails and ones I wanted to keep

  11. AOL Mail Issue

    When I'm trying to send an email to someone on my contact list by typing simply their initial, it gives me more option that are not listed on my contact list at the same time after I remove them using the (x) button, they came back the next time I try create an email.

  14. Remove Email Alias Not Working

    I've tried deleting an email alias using Edge and Chrome. The alias greys out and says disconnecting but is never removed. I have tried at least 12 times. Please fix this feature.

  17. AOL blocks informed delivery for an year then suddenly lets it through again

    My mother has had no emails from USPS Infromed Delivery for an year then suddenly yesterday she FINALLY received one email from USPS for the first time. She has VERY LIMITED tech knowledge and does NOT block anything since she does NOT want to learn how. This is a VERY common issue on AOL's end from all the posts here regarding Informed Delivery. We had tried contacting USPS several times regarding the issue earlier only to have them blame AOL and not bother to fix it. It seems to me that AOL likes to control what its users receive regardless…

  18. Why can't I delete the spam messages in my inbox? Instead of a box to the left that I can check to delete it there's nothing but graphics.

    I'm getting phishing in my inbox that I can't figure out how to delete. There's no box to left to check ... just graphics from the email. Soooo annoying!

  19. I am receiving an email, which goes to spam, offering pictures, from supposedly my brother Terry Robinson. 1334783@senati.pe is not valid.

    Find a wat to block emails that are not valid such as
    1334783@senati.pe. Also find a way to stop fraudulent emails such as one listed above continuing to go to my spam which I have blocked most emails. The one in concern claims they are from Terry Robinson, my brother which is false. Thank you guys.
