Stop requiring phone number verification to log in
Please stop asking "is it really you" and requiring us to answer the phone for a code number just to log in. This is happening every day and is very
annoying. What is the purpose of this? We have been on AOL for a long time. Thanks,Hi there! We are really sorry for the inconvenience. The phone number verification is a security purposes measure that we are taking in order to ensure the safety of the account. If you want to be logged in without the phone number verification we would suggest you to check the "stay signed in" box or disable the 2-step verification. Although we would suggest you to keep the 2-step verification active this might solve the issue. Thank you for reaching out to us!

Hate sign in process
Lately you ask for a text code but thats not good enough, then you need an email code too!! Why do I even have a password if its no good?
This is too much when checking my mail multiple times a day!!!!!Hi there! We are sorry to hear about this. Most probably you have a 2-step verification enabled on your account. Although deactivating the 2-step verification might solve this issue we would recommend you to keep it for security purposes. If you have any other questions or concerns regarding this process we would suggest you to reach out to us on help.aol.com. Thank you for reaching out to us!

Why must I "Verify it's me" EVERY TIME I sign in.
I'm really annoyed that I have to verify my identity EVERY TIME I sign in.
I do not want or need your so called Security. Cookies are the biggest carrier of virus. I clear cookies after each session. Which is probably the reason you make me verify. BUT I do not want your help. PLEASE STOP itHi there! We take the security of our users very seriously and that's why sometimes you might go through some difficult login processes. Usually this issue should be solved if you check the the box "stay signed in". If you are trying to access your account from a new device you will need to login with your credentials every time for security purposes. If you have any other questions regarding this process you can find additional details on help.aol.com. Thank you for reaching out to us!

not receiving email from specific addresses
My elderly not tech savvy mother has not been getting any email from two specific addresses -- USPS Informed Delivery and Buildinglink.com. She relies on thesse two addresses to keep up with bills and apartment builiding announcements. She hasn't been receiving any of these important emals since the beginning of Sept. They originally were being sent to her spam folder, which I had to mark as "not spam" several times since she is not sharp enough to figure this out for herself. Even though I have made sure that both of these addresses have been added to her contacts she…
Hi there! Our suggestion would be get in contact with the sender and ask him/her to fill in an ticket on senders.yahooinc.com and provided the info needed. This will allow our colleagues to take a look at the issue.

Please stop blocking access to my email
When you require verification to login I have to find another PC. If I try to login to my backup email I can't. It always goes to the email I originally tried to access. Please stop this nonsense!

Sending photos from iPhone to AOL to save on computer.
I used to be able to send a photo from my iPhone to my AOL address to open it later and save it on my computer. A few months ago, those emails never showed up in my inbox when I checked email using my computer. Now I notice that when I send emails with photos from my iPhone they are never sent--they just disappear into cyber space? BTW, I tried not sending them "actual size" and tried making them smaller and smaller but that didn't help. What going on?

Two factor id is unecessary
Time consuming and unwanted, just make it optional please.
Hi there! Thank you for the feedback. By enabling a two-step verification on your account you can protect your personal information along with the email itself. Keep in mind that this is an optional feature but we would recommend it to be activated in order to have extra security.

I can never access my email when I need to!
I can never access my email when I need to! What on earth possessed y'all to keep someone who KNOWS THEIR PASSWORD from accessing their email simply because they're on a different computer??? The best part is that, when you send a code, you send it to yet another email you won't let me log in to because I'm on a different computer!

Stop asking me if I want notifications of replies to emails I'm replying to
My notifications are turned off. I do not wnated to be interrupted by incoming emails. Any emails. Every time I reply to certain emails, AOL asks me if I want to get notifications when my reply gets replied to. HOW DO I GET YOU TO STOP ASKING AND TAKE "NO" FOR AN ANSWER? You've previously closed a complaint about this without answering the question.
Hi there. We are sorry about the situation that you are encountering. You can get more info on how to fix it on our help site: https://help.aol.com/articles/turn-desktop-notifications-on-or-off-for-new-aol-mail where you can manage the notifications better, depending on the browser that you are using.

I have now noticed 4 emails from 3 different senders that have gone straight to "Recently Deleted" without ever appearing in "New Mail"
I have now noticed 4 emails from 3 different senders that have gone straight to "Recently Deleted" without ever appearing in "New Mail". I stumbled onto this while on the phone with a sender awaiting their email. I suspect this is part of a platform update that has gone wrong. This is no good and needs to be fixed!!!

Emails are coming through as double of each one
Emails are coming into inbox as two of the same email. Annoying.
Thank you for the feedback typically when we see duplicate emails it is a sign that a 3rd party email client it is being used to view emails alongside the yahoo imbox. We recommend that the 3rd party app is disabled witch shall correct this issue. further support can be found on Help.aol.com.

control spam at domain level
Currently it seems only a full email address can be blocked. I would like to control / block at the DOMAIN level. Which would make it harder for my present main spammer = @ofefrsdtops.net to reach me, with ethe numerous mailboxes they use on the same Domain.

Thank you for the feedback, at this time we only have the ability to block the email address. However if the email has reoccurring language a filter may be best. You can find additional information in here https://help.aol.com/articles/use-filters-to-sort-and-organize-messages-in-aol-mail
