carriage return
Carriage return will not work in email. Can't separate out lines in email. Can't add a contact (because it requires a carriage return). It does work on rare occasions, but this is a serious glitch that makes using the system very difficult. It truly seems like AOL is trying to LOSE customers.

Previously, you could sort emails from A-Z and from Z-A. Now it only has sort sender A-Z.
Allowing it to sort emails from A-Z and Z-A would be helpful. It used to be this way. Now it's only allowing sorting sender A-Z. Since I have 5000+ emails, I like to go from the bottom since it takes so long to go through and delete ones I don't need.

Did I say thank you for the search tabs? Thank you for the search tabs. I hope you are still improving this option. Now that my mail is overrun with spam (thanks for that) the saved searches in tabs comes in handy. So what do you do next?....

FIX THE APP
If I read a new email on my AOL computer app, it automatically moves the new email that has been read & then moves that email to the old folder, but on my Samsung 23 Ultra Android AOL phone app, if I read the new mail, it will not change the mail & mover to old mail on my computer? Bewildering changes.
You can improve AOL by returning it to pre-AOL-Gold formatting. That was the beginning of the end; these current changes are the end. Just one example: the Reply, Reply All, Forward at the bottom of the screen. Having to scroll down through many messages to reply. Then when typing the new message, it disappears behind the Send button after two lines. What reasoning.

The Previous AOL worked very well for me. Go back or I will go to GOOG.
I have been on AOL for many, many years. The new system does not work for me. I would like to go back to the old system.

keep standard version
Can not keep my aol account on standard and not able to move messages to folders on basic, kinda sucks !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

e-mail help.
this new system sucks. i can't get onot my e-mails without hitting a button that says mail, and when i do it tells me the page is not available. i then have to hit another button and then finally get to my e-mails. i tried going to the help site and asking why and they didn't do anything. just kept giving me the run around with things that don't pertain to my problem.

Awful current system, if one can call it that is Primitive and quite 3rd World. Go Back to Classic
It doesn't matter how many requests are made to revert back to a world beating system, you will carry on with this 3rd World excuse for an email system. But you still solicit request on how to improve this awful system.

Search button
The search button doesn't work for searching for subjects. It just gives you one option. So search brings up every and any word that sounds the same whether in the email name or subject or even in the body of email that is similar so you have to sort through hundreds. AOL WHY DID YOU DO THIS. WHY DID YOU MESS UP AN EMAIL PLATFORM THAT YOU HAD MANY USERS THAT LOVED NOW IT'S HATED.

Confidential or Secure Messages
Can you add the ability to send Secure/Encrypted messages similar to Gmail's Confidential mail or Outlook.com's Encrypted Message?
I sometimes use my email to send/receive work related messages and having this ability would help. I currently have to use Gmail via SMTP to send these types of messages from AOL.
