  1. Harder to tell if the email contains an attachment

    In the old version, it was clear when the email contained an attachment. Now the attachment is below the text even if the email contains back and forth text. This new version of AOL is awful.

  2. New format complicates my work.

    The new format is much more complicated when it comes to creating a contact list. Once the list is created I want to join lists and that too is difficult. I also, copy and paste the list then I can use it for Sign up genius or to send professional emails through Constant Contact. The
    new format will not allow my to copy and paste a list. I have to revert to Basic Mail but then other tools are not available. It is very frustrating and I am not sure what has been improved.

  4. The "CURRENT" "OLD AOL MAIL" is Not the the old AOL mail of this past week, 5/21/2023. Please do tell what happened.

    5/28/2023 What, please tell, was the reason for the drastic change in the "basic aol mail"? The new "old mail" is so much less user friendly.

    Allow a setting to turn off grouping emails by date received. Or just go back to the classic AOL email rather than this Yahoo-style email.

  8. Need an AOL Functional Calendar

    AOL calendar is NOT functional - I need my AOL email to be synchronized with a calendar invite where I can invite people into a calendar event just like you can do with outlook - this is a major short fall of AOL not having a functional calendar similar to that of outlook

  9. Everything is too SLOW

    WHY does this forced upon us horrific, loss of functionally, added unwanted functionality, take a "updating bar" and time consuming about of time just to delete your deleted folder? THE NORMAL AOL VS. WE ALL LOVED AND STAYED LOYAL TO SINCE THE BEGINNING OF AOL, HAD ONE CLICK ON DELETE, AND POOF IT WAS GONE. Now? Now you click delete, see a bar as it's processing, and it takes multiple seconds to complete the task. YOU DESTROYED AOL and no one, including Yahoo users, wants Yahoo looking, feeling or acting like email? Care to response w/out marking it responded and…

  11. Delete spam when folder is emptied

    When the spam folder is emptied delete the emails instead of moving them to trash requiring a second step to get rid of them.

  13. Once I hit send the email goes back to some random spot way down in my email instead of the top where I was working from. Very frustrating.

    This new platform stinks. I am going to continue to put negative comments until you revert to the way it was before.

  14. I stayed with AOL for years because it was different and personal. Shopping for a new one now.

    This looks like google, completely impersonal. The links do not work and spellcheck is gone. So am I.

  15. Photos received are not the same as they are sent by friends
