When I open AOLmail I get one of my folders, always the same one. I always have to click on New Mail to get my new mail. I go to settings and make sure that I have chosen to open to my mail. Tell me how to fix this.

WELL ALL THE PHOTOS FROM THE PAST THAT ACCUMULATED, NO WAY TO DELETE THEM. THERE IS A DELETE OPTION @BUT THEY CONTINUE TO POP UP, CALLED N TALKED WITH JOHN IN SUPPORT, HE WAS VERY HELPFUL BUT SAID THERE DOESN'T SEEM TO BE A WAY @ PRESENT TO DELETE THEM. Reinstate shortcut 'x' for close window
My suggestions for Aol:
Reinstate shortcut 'x' to close an email (if only to extend the 'mouse-free experience' while navigating).
Allow images (esp. jpegs) to be attached again, rather than just inserted into the body of an email. It's a nuisance having to Zip them every time to make that happen.
Also, it was much better when the attachments were always visible at the head, rather than having to go to the very foot of an email to check them, or to even see if there is one. I sent plenty of "there was no attachment" replies before realising that…
