AOL's guidelines have nothing to do with the rejection of comments. You can find comments all over the place, that violate their "guidelines": What they clearly don't want, is a substantial discussion, based on facts, where people can have a discussion, based on real opinion, facts, etc, but rather a lowest common denominator shouting match. Post any, uncomfortable facts about, say our involvement in Iraq, and it will get rejected. It's as corrupt as anything in Russia or China.

I posted that there were an estimated 330,000 victims of sexual abuse within the catholic church between 2015-2020. When aske by who's estimate, I tried to post this:

"By a report released 0n the 3rd of october 2021, by an independent commission set up by the Bishops' Conference of France. Google it"

It was rejected, and I got a message that I couldn't post on the topic, because too many of my comments had been rejected. Well, almost all of them had, despite containing no foul language, threats , or insults.

Forget this nonsense that AOL is left or right, it's simply an anti american organization, which wants to keep any facts out of the conversation. Insults falsehoods, obscenities etc, are allowed. AOL simply want's a destructive, divisive, mean spirited argument, devoid of constructive facts, to be promoted. .
