Text color
Your text colors of light gray and light blue are very hard to read, and possibly contribute to eye strain -- especially for we older folk. Please upgrade those to darker colors for better contrast and easier reading. Try black and darker blue for the text. Thanks.

Please make Control+S work to save an email.
And make it possible for me to save an email that I compose. With the current system, if I want to save an email that I compose, I have to send it to myself, open it, then save it. I have to do three steps instead of one.
Also, is anybody working at AOL? I've written about this before and not gotten a reply. And look at all the other complaints on this page. Does anybody there care? -
Text colors in emails not working.
Clicking the apparent 'background' or 'text' color choices, does nothing.
There are no choices presented.
I did note that highlighted AND colored text reverted to black. But nothing allows other colors to be selected -
Hovering mouse over graphics do not show text
When I search AOL in graphics view I am not able to see the name of the company associated with the graphic. This means that I have to waste time to open each image to see where it is coming from
MUCH MORE IMPORTANT: When hovering the mouse over the graphics on my website I see no text associated with the graphic. I have a graphics site and worked very hard to come up with catchy text and information describing each graphic. This is done by adding the word title to the code of the graphic. Now all my work…

Stop auto updates
When new updates are available send a notification and let me do it manually. Now the auto update only changes the system tray icon. The desktop icon and start menu program icon is not updated until the system is restarted. Also, when an update is received the default search provider is changed to AOL Gold. I do not want AOL to make any changes to my system without my approval. I am running Windows 7 with IE 11.

You should vet your feature providers before you allow them to post
2/24/2018 clicked on Lifestyle feature from Eternally Sunny about Budwiser 9/11 commercial and was almost instantly bit with "your PC has been frozen"--you know that scam. You should vet Eternally Sunny berfore you permit it to post. I immediately shut down and signed back on again.

I'm suddenly getting slammed with hundreds of spam and phishing emails. I've had over 100 today alone help. I can't stop to unsubscribe from them all and the spam folder isn't taking them. I don't have these problems with Gmail?

Please bring back the online clock that tells you how long you've been on AOL.
AOL used to have a feature where you type in "Online Clock' in the Keyword tab on the very top & it would tell you how long you were signed into AOL each session.

The address book of contacts in the Gold edition is USELESS!
Address Book should revert back to the old contact list which worked perfectly. Use the old abi & aby files from the former versions.

Cannot " collapse " the toolbar
Before gold , we could hide the icons in the toolbar .Now when you type toolbar into KeyWord ,it gives you an aol search

Bring Back from 9.8.2: [1] Address Book: Alphabetize both the Categores of the Groups on the left of the Address Book screen and the Categories of listed on the Address Card to the right. [2] Favoirites: Allow us to arrange the categories as we choose if we DO NOT WANT them alphabetized and ALLOW us to move the categories where we want them on the list.

Get your Judiths straight!
I am so sick of other Judiths posting! I have been on AOL and posting as Judith for more than 15 (maybe even 20) years. I am @j*1277, live in Des Plaines IL, and work at retired. There is another Judith who is a guest and now there's another one (or maybe it's the same one but was now assigned a number) who is @j*033! I am very angry that AOL has not done anything about this

Standard email routing to new folder only
There is a flaw in programming because when I am in my folders on my pc and a new mail comes in it shows up in the folder I am looking at not in new email folder as it should be and always has been.
