GOLD continually does NOT show me my current e-mails. I am PAYING for this and am frustrated. What the **** is wrong with GOLD?
GOLD should show current e-mails first. Mine continually do not show up. GOLD is a mess.

Marking an email "UNREAD" does not restore BOLD black.
It does remove the 'hard-to-see' red check, but leaving the senders ID and subject in gray makes it blend in with all the emails that had been read.

import is not working
AOL didn't work after a system restore. aoL reinstalled. Tool bar, preferences and mail stored on my PC missing. Before the reinstall, the appdata\local\aoldesktopdata\db file was saved to the desktop.

I do not like the new version of email started in July 2020. When I click read, the email comes up blank.I close it, click read again and it comes up with the contents. I then have to go to top of email and click "allow xxxx" to be able to open anything in that email. More steps and nothing is improved, please go back to the way it was.

Mark emails as being read within your file structure after you actually open them up and read them!
When I see an email in my Inbox, and move it to an email folder of some kind, then click on and open up the email to read it, and then back out - the email still stays bold, without the red "checkmark" on it, and there is NO indication that it has been read. The system always worked the way I just described, but changed today (7/15/20) and no longer works the way it has for years. Go back to AOL 9 when it used to work good
I am having a problem with pictures sent to me. I no longer can see them in my emails. I now have to download everyone without seeing them. Where I used to only have one download window to close for 5 pictures I now have to close five. Get this fixed I'm paying for my AOL and this needs to be fixed!!!!!! Or I will be leaving Aol you have ruined it in so many ways I have been a user since 1998 and Aol Gold STINKS!!!!!!!!

"Mange folders" is not working
Manage Folders is not working. I have attempted to delete some older ones and tried adding new ones to no avail. Other options such as "move folder" do not work either.

Email is not working. They say customer support is available to paid subscribers 25/7. I call & get no answer. They say chat is not available due to corona. What about social distance requirements would be a problem with having a chat representative available. It's just an excuse for AOL's terrible service. Why am I paying $18/mo for AOL? Guess I'm stupid, but no more. Time to cancel after 35 years.

Emails take forever to receive. I will have someone tell me they just sent me an email and it takes maybe an hour or more to get it.
Emails take forever to receive. I will have someone tell me they just sent me an email but I might not receive it for hours. And I'm not getting emails from people that are in my address book or replies to emails I have sent to them. WTF is up with AOL. Ever since net neutrality was blown out of the water, the service has deteriorated completely and we pay for it.

fix the mail so I don't have to keep deleting the mail.I just here and deleted mail that I had permanently deleted a month ago. This happens all the time I can delete mail and days later the same mail is back up again.
