Marking an email "UNREAD" does not restore BOLD black.
It does remove the 'hard-to-see' red check, but leaving the senders ID and subject in gray makes it blend in with all the emails that had been read.

The latest version of aol desktop gold doesn't display all unread emails at one time. This morning, I have 292 unread emails and yet, only 60 or some show up. I have to wait a good 10 minutes or so for the rest to show. up.

A slight correction. After going through over 100 emails, the number does go down. After going through emails, I now have 59 unread ones.

I go through my email everyday, but unread emails don't change to read emails. Today, I have 307 unread emails and after going through over 100 emails, the number doesn't go down and emails don't have a red checkmark to indicate that the email has been read.
